What would you rate the Yamaha Warrior from 1-10?

i think the warrior is one of the best all around "universal" bikes. maybe its me but i dont think it handles jumps to well.
i already got a hairline crack on my frame  and i dont jump that aggresively. sucks. now i gotta te it welded.

They have not made many changes in that design untill now. I owned one and I weigh in at 270 Lbs and I rode it hard. Its the most popular sport/utilty bike for the past 10 years. It was time for a change. Great entry level mid size ride.

Personally I really dont like the warrior's whole feel it is weird the way it makes you slouch when you sit on the odd seat. When I bought my blaster I was looking to get a warrior and not my blaster but I think that I made the right choice by getting the Blaster I rate it at a 5 because it is a good bike but not up to the new technology, good thing they redisigned it for 2005 into the Raptor 350 [smiley=Approve.gif] [smiley=Approve.gif]

I'd say it's a good quad for the money.  There are plenty of used ones and a good amount of mods you can do to them.  The 350 motor is almost bullet-proof.

I would give the Warrior a 6-it is definitely a great trail bike-easy handling, manuevering thru tight spots.  Though, not so great for mx tracks!  And as previously mentioned the engine is bullet proof when maintained.

A step above a blaster in terms related to rider experience and rider ability.  Maybe a 6.   -Mark

It might be a step above in overall potential and size, but I think Blaster's are much more peppy and fun to ride.
I've ridden a Raptor 350 (basically the same quad as the warrior) and I was impressed with the plushness of the suspension, quite smooth I thought.  But the power..... wasn't there!  :o
Good quads overall, sorta like a blue 300ex?

I'll give it a 9 cuz I never serviced.  I had it for almost 2yrs. and never changed the oil or anything.

bulletproof engine, great beginner quad, good all-around quad.

I think it sucks becuase the suspension was soo SOFT!!! but a good trail quad!! Its a 2 for track and a 8 for trail.

i feel bad for the new owner......

i give it about say a 7. i have a raptor 350 its a reall nice trail quad really confrtable. not as much power as ide like needs about 5 or 10 more horsepower to keep up wit the blasters and 400s but great quad overall.

The raptor350 will blow a blaster with flying colors! And will keep up with the 400's

a raptor/ warrior 350 wont beat a blaster by that much..... i think that kind of comparison really comes down to the rider.

I raced my freind he had a Blaster and I blew him on my Warrior.

well that blaster isnt really stock and it only beat me top end as for keepin up wit 400s it woulnt.

I give it a 9.5 because it dose everything it flys,rides wheeles,muds but it could use a little bit more power. ;)
