Why is this weekend the "last allowable riding weekend"? Isn't it July 1st?

I just took a ride past macks boat ramp this morning and I have to say it is perfect. It doesn't look like one person has tried it yet. I love being first.

I guess I will have to think about old C&R.

C&R is so far for me or else id meet yall out there  :'(

Please come out to show the media that ATV's need a place to ride in South Florida ... Sunday June 8th at the L-5 Levee just past Campbell Park. Just come out with your crew, ride, and enjoy the day. Sun-Sentinel's working on a story and will have a reporter, a videographer, and photographer out there to show how many people enjoy the sport and will be effected by the rule change.

We all can tear off our Green OHV Stickers ,and brake off our orange flags and leave them there... we wont be needed them anymore..  thank you FWC you bunch of worthless twits!!!!!!!

I cant say all fwc are bad but In some of the meeting we(I and some of my group) have gone there have been FWC officers that were there and have told us I being in the group have been told It is about time some of you guy speak out and have given us support. Now if it was in bad intent I dont know but They have told us. I spoke to some of them at a meeting I went to in the squares at a protest we did against SFWMD

SFWMD just knows that FWC can't patrol the area and are the true bullies in this closure IMO

Holylands belongs to SFWMD, it's their property managed by FWC. We need to file a lawsuit against both entities claiming recreational discrimination. How can it be that it's legal to drive a full track, a swamp buggy or even a Rhino and not an atv?? Where is the scientific study to back this up,where are the studies that say that the buggies/Fulltracks are ok?? I don't and wont pit one group against each other, but this has to stop, the bigger picture has to include either everyone or no one. My .02 cents


Just as an FYI, could it be because one of the FWC commissioners owns the nice camp out there and does not want atv's??

For every buggy, fulltrack there's 100 ATVs.

yea, just our few little voices won't do anything to SFWMD.  That rule change is here to stay!

YEP its done , FWC  couldnt even include ATV use for the NEWsmall game season dec/march 1st.. for one i not going to support the FWC anymore , i not going to renew my hunting/fishing/ mgt stamp ..  i will hunt out of state this yr.  i fact i might join the SERRIA CLUB  there are fighting to close down all use in the everglades. that way all of it gets shut down and maybe that will get the attenion of the buggies, and full tract users .. wait until next yr when 3 lakes, bull creek , big cypress, ocala ,areas,.  FWC  take note .. the land will get impacted, because FWC doesnt know how to manage the lands!!!  like other states do! also ATVdealers wake up NO AREA to ride NO ones BUYS your product..  RICK CASE, RIVIA, BROWARD MOTOSPORTS..  are the big dealers and kick back 0%  in support ....  your sales are going to drop like a rock :o... the DEALERS need to get a lawer, and get the ATV riders together start signing a protest, and then a caravan to the captial.  start calling your congress men. REMEBER atvers DO VOTE!!!.  we pay our tax fees, our green stamp fee.  for the use of rideing on public lands.  now its time for ATVers to be heard !!!!  FLA is the 2nd largest state for ATV sales.. we need to be reckonised.....  i can bet if 2 to 3k atvers went to protest at the captial something will be done!!!  it going to be a fight just to keep what little lands we have left. because more closesures are comming.... with gas going to $5 a gal they should let us ride them to work!!! :-\
