When my Dad was a kid back in the 50s, he saved up his money to buy a book out of a comic book ad entitled "How to be a Lady Killer". The only thing he got in the mail was a two page pamphlet with the picture below.

At the same time, he bought another book entitled "How to Influence People and Make Lots of Friends". He got another two page pamphlet with the picture below.

I think these two books still hold up today in our so called troubled times.
