Title: gas station scams Post by: bocephus300 on March 28, 2008, 11:16:03 PM i noticed at a few gas stations they took out the spring on the auto pump thing. usually it holds itself up and you need to push it down so it holds the trigger. i keep putting in more gas than i want to, it gets stuck on. has anyone else noticed this?

Title: Re: gas station scams Post by: yunt2ride on March 29, 2008, 07:40:30 AM I think its a safety issue thing. Seems like someone even told me that they are supposed to not have them on in Florida at all, but every now and then I still see them on some. Not sure exactly.

Title: Re: gas station scams Post by: logandzwon on March 30, 2008, 03:54:47 PM How do you get more gas then you want to? The pump should shut-off automatically when your full otherwise there is something wrong with the pump. If you report it to the attendant and they don't close the pump then there is a number to call the state and report them on every pump.
