Title: YFZ jetting, NEED HELP!!!! Post by: Flea_Jumper on February 05, 2005, 06:09:42 PM Just piped the bike and took it to Orlando Yamaha for them to jet it according to Trinity Racing's recommendations. Well guess what, they screwed it up. Had it for over ten days and still back fires on the rev down, cant take off the air box lid because it backfires worse.
Anyone know what the correct jetting is? It would be great if a member in Orlando could help me do this, its driving me nuts. Title: Re: YFZ jetting, NEED HELP!!!! Post by: Chuck_Norris on February 05, 2005, 06:23:21 PM with your airbox lid of start with a a 45 pilot and your needle on the 4th clip, 172 main 1.5 turns out on your mixture screw this should get you close you may also want to invest in a Zipty air fuel screw to make adjustments easier. I am running a 48 pilot. YZ needle on the 4 th clip and a 178 main.
mods consist of Cam Mod, ESR intake, With K&N and outer wears, White Brothers E series2 slip on. I know mine is right on the money, I use the JET4POWER system this took all the guess work out of jetting. Title: Re: YFZ jetting, NEED HELP!!!!
