2005 Dodge Dakota SLT Magnum V8... oh wait ::)

04 SVT Cobra w/ Kenne Bell

kenn bell is just a knock off of whipple, most shoot for whipple first choice and get a kenn bell becasue they found a deal on ebay or something like that.

my dream truck is a ext cab short bed duramax on 35s with a built trans and efi lived with a huge garret turbo, and my dream fun/mud truck would have to be a pre 88 chevy/gmc 1 ton single cab long bed on 38s with a carburated 454... i dont have any dream CARS, chances are ill never drive a car, no nead when a diesel pickup truck can blow the doors off of a corvet with the right mods...

I dont know, there is just too many choices.

If I could afford the gas and tires, my Daily driver would probably be an 07 F-350, xtra cab long bed with either a Duramax and Allison tranny or a 7.3L Powerjoke. Also, it would be hydro steer with rocks and 44" tsl's. White with black eaton wheels and 5% tint so you can't see up in my windows.

Weekend car would be a 69' Camaro and a 4-link'd Samurai on 38" tsl's for the woods.

Boy, I can't wait until I win the lottery this week!

Just get me a car that has 4 seats, a trunk, 0-60 in at least 10 seconds and gets 200 miles per gallon. AND it can only cost no more than $12,000. THAT is a dream car.

my dream car would be a weekend warrior with a jaccuzi/ disco room in the garage bay decked out in the inside with a 30 foot trailer with a custom mirage painted on the side of me riding a unicorn through the woods. and about 100,000 so i could make a couple full seasons of the GNCC's.

youre kinda there. i think i would want a weekend warrior too with a huge garage and a trailer that matched. both painted like Factory Hondas trailers. it would be really sweet if it cane with a few CBRs, CRFs, and 450Rs. all tricked out of course.

if a weekend warrior couldnt happen, id want a 67 Shelby GT500KR in that green color with a 4-speed and a 2008 GT500KR the same color to match.  ;D

KB is the knock off, they paid Whipple for their old design and slap their name on it, thats why i say its the second choice normally.

if i put a 383 in my truck it'd pretty much be my dream truck actualy. the only reason id go dmax is for fuel milage, other than that my truck with a 383 would be perfect, right now I'm settling for a cam swap and doing my own tuning, that should keep me more that happy with my truck... not on gas tho haha.

if it werent for gas prices id say my dream truck is a pre 88 chevy 3/4 ton with a 572 big block with a huge roots blower and dual carbs.

Hell ya! but i believe the title is "Car" bro.

I'd also love to build a SICK old mini cooper classic.

or stick a 13b in a miata. mmmmmm, screw a 302, rotary baby!

or a busa engine in a kit car...

ok the list will never stop, i love cars

Title: Re: Dream Car

eh, I'm a pickup man. cant stand any foreign cars. but i would love to have a a 67 camaro or maybe a chevelle come to think of it. i really don't have any urge for any kind of car or anything thats not an American rear wheel drive v8. hell, to be honest i pretty much wouldn't drive anything but a Chevy weather it be a muscle car or a pickup truck but thats just me...

how could a guy want a miata? or something with a rotary engine!? whats wrong with you man lol, you want a hot nasty bad ass gas guzzling big block v8 not a rotary engine in a Mazda miata? lmao. I'm just messing with ya, to each his own

a few muscle cars come to my mind, maybe a z06 vett as a dream car but when it comes to trucks i could go on forever about trucks i dream about having, i love trucks.

2 dr blazer would be a sweet truck, or an old c10 chevy like the copperhead project on trucks, or a 6.2 diesel in a blazer mud truck, the list goes on... and they are prety much all chevys lol

yaaaaa i'd LOVE that old shelby.

The reason i'd drive a miata with a 13b is because i could make it handle like it were glued to the road, and my power to weight ratio would be excellent. I like rubber burnin v8's, but try and take those things in the twisties....you cant! and the twisties are were the fun is! And with a convertable, its almost like riding a quad. I'm sure the big UTE's are damn near as long as a miata hahah. I'd rather have the rx-7 than the miata though. Miata would just be cool to show off.

I sincerely apologize gearhead, but I am going to have to bust you on this one.  No matter what you could possibly think of doing to a Miata to make it look cool, it will always be the preferred car of the homosexual community.

woa didnt know about this thread!  well Im big into lincolns and my dream car was the 61-65 continentals also known as the MATRIX or KENNEDY cars, these cars keep steadily climbing up the "I dont have enough money to buy" ladder. Well long story short I found one in rebuildable shape and bought it for super cheap, so cheap I almost started crying! ive been going through it since I got it slowly taking it apart and inventorying every part, some going to get powdercoated and some just cleaned to be put back on later. here are some pics of me picking it up and a concept drawing of the finished project.

That car is sexy as hell with the FR's on it.  I want an 04 since they are even more rare than the 03's.  You can't find low-mileage non abused Cobras anywhere now a days.

I remember that car in the video from a few years back, I have no idea where it is now.  I know the previous owner sold it about 3-4yrs ago, it had a ported Eaton on it.  I forget what the exhaust is but it sounds so sick :Y

is it just me or does that guy driving the cobra have no idea what he's doin lol. the car is awesome and sounds sexy as hell but he can't even launch it right and even f****d up shifting lmao

The driver was MPH's (Module Power House) unofficial stuntdriver lol.  If you look closely in the beginning, when he is first coming up the hill out of the burnout... theres a guy running from the middle of the road.  Everyone could have sworn he was going to smash into the back of the rig parked out front.  Shows how much confidence they had in him :D But yeah, he is a good driver... just was stupid at the time.

That video is old as hell though, MPH is huge now.  That was at their first building... they are now in a 25k+ sq. ft. building with 10lifts.  It's insane.  They're expanding to older 5.0s now.

i do have a squeekey alternator right now and it sounds like that cheepo centrifigul blower lol. roots or screw is were its at, the only advantage to a centrifigul is saving alot of money and thats about it, they spool sloooow compared to a roots/screw blower...

im not hatin on the centrifigul, it beets the hell outa naturaly aspirated but i just think they dont sound right, certainly not like mine, more like when my alternator squeaks before it gets warm haha.

From reasonable to unreasonable:  04-07 subi sti, audi rs4, vette Z06, ferrari 599 gtb, saleen s7 twin turbo.  Many more cars fit in there but those are the ones that i was able to think of right away.

Besides the ones i have listed, i'd also love

infiniti G35, subaru legacy gt, lotus esprits or an elise if i couldnt have the sprits'ter...hmm I'd love to have an old bel-air with a monster 572 in it. And the new Aston Martin DBS is sickkkk. And if VW wasnt known for electrical gremlins, i MIGHT drive an R32.

not a fan of how they put the oil pressure/volts/gas/coolant temp down by the shifter.

Chevy Camaro. Should be available Jan. 2008. I just wished GM had of made it to look more retro to the 68 camaro. Ford did good with the front end of the mustang GT but didn't retro the rear enough. Dodge took the challenger to a nice retro level. Thats the closest retro that I have seen. Very nice muscle car.

Mentioning the R32 reminds me of a car i forgot...  The Nissan Skyline GT-R and i love the camaro however im thinking they are going to tone it down by production time.

Their are so many different spec's and years I wasnt even going to waste my time naming the skyline. But its DEFINITELY a car i'd love to own, especially the new GT-R .
