Companies across America could easily be saying this to fill 10-20 million jobs. Problem is that our government first needs to get rid of 10-20 million illegal residents! It just kills me me when I hear all the politicians running for office talk about unemployment rates and creating jobs for "AMERICANS". The jobs are already here, it's just that alot of them are occupied by people that are here illegally and paid by "AMERICANS".   :'(

Of course, because american business owners are cheap! I own a Landscape and Tree business and only hire english speaking americans.

when you get ready to pick lettuce in 100deg. heat, haul sheetrock up 4 story's by hand....shingle houses in the summer...clean Sh&TTy azz toilets etc. etc. etc. then complain about plenty of jobs for Americans.  ::) ...the fact is most illegals are filling a need...what our government needs to do is find a way for the hard working immigrants to get legal and continue working and also do something about securing our borders...I know several business owners that tried to hire American workers and they say they just don't want the work or they want entirely to much pay for the position..so much for working your way up the ladder any more? As a general manager of a business I see it myself you try and hire young folks to do a job and they think they are above the work / pay and that they should be making the same pay as someone that has been here for 15years?!! Unless you have they skills, the education or the experience its just not going to happen...so guess what happens in comes "Mr. Immigrant" grateful to have the job...never complains about over time coming in early etc.etc. never late...works his Azz off and the business owner is whistling Dixie everyday about how good his new employee is and asks him if he has any buddies :-*  

There is no doubt that a lot of them are very hard workers and greatful for the job but is it too much to ask for them to be legal and for god's sake.......S-P-E-A-K    E-N-G-L-I-S-H

I 100% agree with you.  ;) ..my statement was only answering the why's it wasn't an arguement for...no body hates more than me having to push 1 for for english or 2 for spanish  >:((that's just plain crapola!!!)   

Pretty soon were gonna get that option at the drive-thrus for fast food places.....please press 1 for English or 2 to be annoyed......

And instead of hiring someone who is bilingual they will just hire one person who speaks english and one who speaks annoying and they will share a microphone.......grrrrrrrr

Generally,  I don't think American small business owners are cheap, it's more thats what they can afford. Once again, "generally" it is the Corporations that are cheap or greedy or both. I also agree that "generally" the younger generation has become "lazy" for lack of a better term. I'm 40 years old and started working, guess what, farm work. I then started working construction, as a laborer and have moved up o foreman for one of Florida's largest "DRYWALL" companies. I make a pretty decent living for having a job that requires nothing more than a basic education. I don't consider myself above average when it comes to intelligence but I do consider myself as one who has never been afraid to work to get what I want. Aint Chit in this world that's worth having that comes free or easy to the majority of us out there. I really don't care if some one is technically here illegally either I guess, they just need to pay they're fair share in taxes. I agree also that the majority of Mexicans are hard working and honest people that don't complain about "hard" work. I guess my reason for this post is to make people step back and take a good look at ourselves and the direction this country as a whole is headed. Sure aint headed the way it was, say 20 years ago. This post is not aimed at any particular race or culture other than our own! THE AMERICAN WAY! Wat does that mean today?

I dont know about North Florida, but if I were starting a business in South Florida, I'd be hiring only multi-lingual employees. The tempermant down here is Spanish.

Yes they work cheap. and they work hard.  They also get free medical, They don't pay taxes.  Free Education And  Food stamps. They don't bother to learn English.  Who do you think pays for all that?  The American that has to pay taxes, pay for his own education and Medical bills and has to listen to them pregnant dog about how bad it is here and why don't we do something to help their cousins, brothers,sisters,mother and father that they left behind in what every country they came from.

The illegals are a false force in the economy. If you remove them from the equation, you'd be able to hire American citizens to pick the crops, clean the toilets, etc... The market would adjust across the board.

I've posted on this many times before. Illegals are costing this country approximately $70 billion per year before you figure decreased property values, negative education impacts and increased medical, housing and tax costs. I have no mercy for them. If you're illegal, you need to go. No amnesty, no ifs ands or buts. get out.

$70,000,000,000.00. That's $191,780,800.00 per day, $7,990,800.00 per hour, $133,100.00 per minute, $2,200.00 per second. That's an extra $1,400,000,000.00 per state per year.

So, while the states lack the funds to adequately pay teachers. Americans go hungry. Roads go unrepaired. Troops are underfunded and under equipped. Social security heads for bankruptcy and the federal deficit climbs.......we the American taxpayer deal out of our hard earned money $70,000,000,000.00 per year (MINIMUM) for these people who are an absolute drain on society, the economy and the overall quality of life we've all come to love in the USA.

Yeah, it's kind of easy to see where I stand.

Whats going to be the big problem in our future is the second generation mexican. Its already happening now. They don't want to work like there first generation did, there lazy and there starting gangs all over our country. Were in trouble, better stock up your weapons you'll see.
Remember our founding fathers thought slavery was a good idea too. That was even cheaper labor than mexicans. :-X

Great points! I've been watching the "Gangland" series on the History Channel lately. The common denominator for the most violent gangs in America is the illegal alien. I totally agree with you that the second generation is the one to watch for. Laziness combined with a sense of entitlement plus a total disregard for anyone else equals trouble.

Immigration is the key political issue for me. The cost is enormous and growing exponentially every day.  >:(

I've seen gangland its very troubling, especially the one episode with gangs in our military. Nothing better than training them to be better fighters and killers.   :K

 I'm not against any hard working person. The illegal immigrants are the problem, even for their own race. If someone from my own country was getting the benefits I'm getting, and doesn't have to educate himself like I had to, then hell yeah...he needs to go back!!
   I see the growing problem with the new generation also. That's why I want my Wife to learn to shoot. The gangs were bad when I lived in Miami, and now their spreading everywhere.
   Two of my Brothers were in gangs and a lot of my friends were in gangs. The reason a lot of gangs formed was they didn't want to work for what they wanted, they took it by force. And that's the reason the gangs are growing. The immigrants are illegal already, so they figure they can't get anything because they are illegal, so they take it by force instead of working hard for it.

Once they are given amnesty. They will collect welfare,sec 8 housing and free college under Hillary`s dream act. But, they will also work off the books for cash while milking the welfare system dry. If they work so hard, why hasnt thier own country succeeded in anything? Japan has no natural resources except people power. They have been kicking ass for years with hard work and dedication. I work in Fire-Ems and see the american taxpayer hesitate to call 911 for help. They have paid taxes everyday for this system thier whole life. The rest, thats the only number they know for no good reason.  I also own a roofing bussiness. I will not hire an illegal, no matter how hard they work. Every few days I get the one guy that can speak english a bit, trying to bring his guys to do work for me for less. I have also seen these guys show up on saturday, tear off and dry in a roof and then shingle it on sunday. No permits,no liability insurance, no workers comp. etc. You cant beat thier prices. But, when one takes a header off your roof, he will own you, your house, etc, because you victimized him into doing your roof for less then the average worker. You get what you pay for.I treat my guys like family and pay them a fair wage. They work just fine. Plus I can yell at them in english. You liberal ^sses need tobetween the lines here. It sure is funny I have to pay for my kids to go to public school( in taxes) and then pay for college. But ,they get it for free?? They already broke the first law by coming here without papers. Sneak into Mexico and see how they take care of you. How is it we allow non-citizens to bring lawsuits against our counties and states for trying to control the milking of the system. It not even non-citizens , its actually the mexican government bringing the lawsuit. Then a mexican kills an pregnant mother and soldier and they will not even send him back. We will fall do to liberal minds that do not believe in god, country , and honor. We will fall like the Roman empire, due to its liberal ways, its just a matter of time. History repeats itself over and over. Pay attention people. Now lets ride.   

I say send them all back or open hunting season on them for a couple months a year so we can thin out the herd...

I wouldn't blame it all on liberals, the last time i checked there's been a conservative in office for the last 7 years.
 Thats the price you got to pay if you want cheap labor here, I guess Bush didn't learn any history lesson's about cheap labor from the days of slavery.
