Title: 05 Vinson blows ignition fuse when wet Post by: likitysplit on February 04, 2008, 09:54:53 AM i was at Croom this weekend got a little wet (2-3 feet of water) and it shut off, no lights on dash totally dead. I got pulled back to the truck and found the ignition fuse blown replaced with spare and it would pop the ignition fuse every time you turn the key on. Anyone ever seen this on a vinson??? After it dried it seemed to be fine rode the rest of the weekend without incident - stayed out of water.
Title: Re: 05 Vinson blows ignition fuse when wet Post by: frdmddr on March 05, 2008, 12:16:03 AM i had the same problem on my vinson, i traced some wires out and ended up disconnecting one toward the back left side along the frame. it has a disconnect plug, look in your manual and see what it does. after i disconnected it, it curred the problem.
