Title: Ride now motorsports
Post by: Starbuc71 on February 02, 2008, 11:15:10 PM
I heard a lot of comments on here about ride now dealerships.  I bought a new can am renegade from them and got somewhat what of a good deal.  On time of purchase, no one in the dealership could tell me what the factory warranty was and how long it was.  They actually were looking through customer brochures to see if they could find any info.  When they did a walk through inspection on the bike with me before I left, I asked questions if there was an hour meter on this modle and the woman replied no, I don't think so, maybe?  Low and behold, I go home that night with my new quad and see on the BRP website get a free 3 year warranty with the purchase of any outlander or renagade model.  I go back to the dealer the next day and they had no clue.  I get a call 2 days later stating the dealership opted to take a rebate for themselves vs. giving me the extended warranty.  I told them that was BS. they never told me of a rebate for them.  they said they could do nothing.  3 days later the business office guy called me back and said the manager felt bad and that he would give me the warranty.  That was 3 months ago.  I have heard nothing.  I go there the othr day and they did not know what I was talking about.  Next I go to the parts department to buy some BRP handguards.  I figure they could not screw up genuine BRP parts.  The parts guy asks what brand of ATV I had and I told him can-am.  He said they don't carry can-am and I was out of luck.  I told him I purchased the ATV here a few months ago and that they better carry the brand.  He had no clue.  Stay away from these morons.  They have no clue what they are selling.  They seem to hire any kid who can fill out an application with no motorsports knowledge.  Lucky I did not finance or I'm sure they would have screwed up that also.  I wish nature cost motorsports in Crystal River carried Can-am.  They are all knowledgeable and real.

Maybe we should all call there and tell them if they order one, we'll be in to buy it the day it comes in.
