I wouldn't say it's a bad area but I also wouldn't walk through the neighborhoods behindit at night either. You are a stones through from Raymond James Stadium and on a major road. You should be good to go.

That's a fine area. The police station is one or two lights away. They patrol that area pretty good.

Rocky point is pn 60 on the Tampa side of the Howard Franklin. It's an 8 mile bridge. You may find a hotel cheaper on the Clearwater side of the bridge. No worries about bad neighorhoods over here.

I will let you know. She is still waitng to see if it is covered under her insurance. What a great conutry. If she wasn't a tax paying citizen it would be free. If the insurance covers it she still has to pay $4000 out of pocket. That is why they want to find a cheap hotel. They have to stay 5 nights and @ $200 a night that adds $1000 to the bill. Plus my father-in-law is 74 years old and can't hear. I know how he is and he will be wandering around the outside of the hotel all night, because that what he does. I don't want him to wander into Chinos neighborhood and get jacked. Especially since he can't hear if someone around him. Thanks for the help so far.

typically those type of surgeries are not covered by most insurances. You may want to do a little investigating about these guys on the net. They stole their techniques from the Bonati institute in Hudson. the guy who invented the techniques owns that place & they used to work for him. you will find plenty of good & bad about this place & the procedures.
I hope it works out for her as back pain is the worst thing ever.
