Post by: brett711 on April 24, 2005, 04:26:50 PM
i just purchased a 4x6 carry on trailer..bike fits nice and snug.
the only prob i have is, due to the weight of the bike, the front bar and tongue wants go up in the air.
do i need to shorten the tongue, make it longer, i dont know.

As a rule, you want 5% of the total weight at the tongue, that's the trailer and it's load. You need to move the axle back some or move the load where more weight is forward. You could even add weights to the front.
