Post by: MudMan on January 15, 2008, 10:51:08 AM

Marine speakers mounting in Pvc tubes or the dry box, and a dry box for the i pod and small amp. Then all you need is a 3.5mm to rca cord and some wire to power the amp and speakers

The majority of the time the back half of my bike is under water so that's not gonna work out very well.

I have mine set up w/ a separate battery in a marine case.  I mounted a small amp inside the case.  Then ran the wires to the speakers.  My suggestion would be to use some marine batteries.  Now as far as keeping your Ipod dry.  There is a site online in my favorites on the other puter that I have that is made for swimmers to listen to their Ipods.  Send me a PM and I'll send you the link later tonight when I get home.  As for now I just keep the Ipod in the inside of my rain coat in a separate case.  I'm waiting for the other product that I ordered to come in.

dry box, marine speakers, small amp is the way to go.   my nephews is set up that way and it works great.   i plan on setting up mine the same way.   remember when we came out to holopaw.   as long as you seal everything good you wont have any problems.   i watched him drop the front end under water, the music stopped, but as soon as the front end resurfaced the music was back without missing a beat.

Why not just use a headset for the ipod and keep ipod in a dry box.
