Title: removing rims from tires Post by: 850 on May 28, 2005, 09:11:47 PM how do ya'll remove your four wheeler rims from your tires? i have a 450R and they are bead locked. tried taking them to wal mart and they wouldnt do it because of the aluminum rims. im trying to get them powder coated. thanks for the help.

They sell a bead breaking tool with all the prying tire tools needed, for pretty cheap. I used this tool on my 2 old yamahas and it only took me about 4 hours to do 8 tires. Or you could just save yourself the frustration and go to a tire shop.
