"The ballot box for the election did not make it to all of the events required by the rulebook. A protest has been brought forward and the current election results have been deemed invalid. There are no rules in our rulebook for the procedure in the event of this type of situation. Joe Steidl moved that we hold a re-election. A new ballot showing all nominees on the original ballot with the exception of Andy Dickson who withdrew will be printed and mailed to all members. The new election mail–in deadline is January 31, 2008. The election committee will meet February 2, 2008 to finalize the election results. The motion was seconded. The motion passed with 4 votes for and 2 votes against." |
