 Has anyone camped at Croom the day after Christmas? We have about 15 to 20 of us heading there from Davie on 12/26/07. Does anyone know if we'll be able to get a few camp sites if we get there first thing in the morning?

i was out there today at the camp grounds and there are already people setting up tents getting their spots .if i was you and you really want a spot i would go there this week and put a tent on it and pay for the time they will fill up .

i was thinking of going up to croom after x-mas iam hoping there be some camping spots what time are you all going up

A bunch of us from coopercity/ davie always head out there for christmas.
usually theres' not that many people there till new years' camping out.
um.. last year we had a friend that lived up there set up our camps so we would deff have a camp site.

when are you all going up .......who gets a site for you are they a member of atvflorida

We're going the 26th, and my aunt usually gets us a spot, but she cant this year....

i will be going out to croom again one day this week if you would like i will see how the camp grounds are looking .when i left sunday there was about 15 spots roped off already .i should be going wed-thurs so i will let you all know .if there anything else i could help with let me know .i live 1 hour away from croom and one of the rangers is a good friend .and you can lways call the front gate and they will tell you how many spots are left .

just a fyi .. was at croom today there about 8 sites left .

 Thanks for all the imput. We took your advice and had someone set up four camps for us yesterday so that we had them when we got there. I'm sure all the sites will be gone by tomorrow. Thanks again...
