3 Lakes is definintely not a place to ride ATV's. You can use them on the roads only and there are limited miles of road. In addition, you must obey the speed limit which is 15 mph. It is a waste of your time to go there and attempt to ride.

Anoriginal is right.  Now is not the time to be out at 3 lakes, it is ALL hunters now and yes you will probably piss them off

Once small game season opens up in January 3-Lakes is a great place to ride......There is a 3-Lakes section off 441 and another section off of State Road 60 west of yeehaw junction.  Both places are great and the section off State Road 60 is almost never manned.  Bull Creek is another great place to ride.   But I would wait till small game season opens up.  If you want more info PM me.

And I've been going out there for years and never been even remotely close to being stopped for going over 15 mph.  I barely ever see Rangers out there period during small game season.  And I've never seen a Ranger period at the 3-Lakes section off of State Road 60.
