we are starting from the ground up
1982 CJ-5

4 inch lift
dana 44 front and rears( detroit lockers, 3.73 gears)
small block 400 motor( race ready)
glass body

not as of right now.
we might in the future but no plans to yet.
thats how it was when i bought it and it was real choppy ride.
we did the shackle reversal kit which is supposed to be alot smoother. we also put YJ springs on it

mostly a mud toy. i will probaly drive on the road every now and then but not much
i am hoping to have it dun after christmas sometime. i ahve like 3 weeks off. so i might be bale to get it done

You may have problem with the first driveshaft clearing the trans.

we worked past it an dit is no problem now

My Dad has a tricked out Corvette and everything you do to it is alot of money, but well worth it in the end when you are enjoying it.

I swap a t904 trans for a TF727 and thats the problem I had with the Dana 300

ya me and my dad are in the process of redoing his 1966 corvette stingray. we are putting a big block 454 back in it
we have it on hold tilll the jeep is complete

alright we have run into a little problem...our steering rod wont clear our headers..does anybody know any suggestions on what to do? i have tried fenderwell exit headers and everyother set of header we have laying around. nothing works. So let me know if you have ever done a v-8 swap in a jeep and how you ran your steering rod.
