whats up  ladies

well another wonderful day of racing lol i ha m y daily mud bath  lol yea  funny huh guys  lol i wasnt funny flippin lol i dont know were  th ebike was  goin thats the first thing i was thinkin was make sure the bike  dont land on me  lol  it was fun though

lol   but big dog still finished 2nd lol  i couldnt believe i made the   final heat    lol it was crazy

I had a blast today also. The weather looked crappy and turned out to be quite nice afterall. Still a good turnout too. I ran pretty good in the 2nd group of the O/B moto. Couldn't finish the rounds b/c my decomp plug came out of my YFZ >:(. When I got to my trailor there were peeps coming over asking me if I blew my motor up? I had no idea what they were talking about? Someone said "Look man". I had oil all over the place. Peeps were saying that oil was spewing out after the 3rd lap. Why in hell didn't the flagman at least attempt to stop me ???. Then there was another guy on a YFZ that had the same problem. I was trying to wave the guy down but he coudn't see me. I told the flagman "Stop him b/f he blows his motor up man >:(. The dude looked at me and watched the guy continue to ride for another 2 laps >:(. That pisses me off that he didn't have the courtesy to at least save the guy 1,000's in motor work for possibly winning a trophy ???. I don't know? I have fun out there but there are some fooked up things about that place.

hey rob  i will tell u this  when  i had anything wrong with my motor i mean  i  do  glance down  on both sides  of my bike coming down the strait lol  i know sh*t breaks  and i didnt want the same thing to happen to myself  oil leaking and blow the motor up   lol  but i mean dude oil  was all over and smoking i dont know how u didnt smell it   but if i was a flagman i would not stop u   cuz if i did  an du get someone like me  lol i woul dbe pissed i would  say he cost me the race and blah blah  blah i dunno  just try   to glance  down   coming down the straight   if u would have did that  u would have saw   all the  smoke lol u looked like a train  lol

he man i was lookin forward to that last  race with u and tony and number 78 lol  it was gonna be like a   open am class in o/b  lol wish u coul dhave made it   let me know if u want that plug i can have ya one this week and drop it off when i go to dade city man

by the way sandmountain   i didnt ask but please  please tell me today was double points   lol after i got all muddy  i  was told it was double points but i was told that the last 2 races but they said today was double points forsure  lol  i hope  they were

Thanks Atvalts Rob we get yelled at for stopping the race for broken ribs i have seen bones comming out of the skin and racers are asking why did you stop the race. I was on the pits side of the track in the middle pointing at your motor with the yellow flag it looked like you saw me a couple of times if you would have been black flaged it would have been because of the danger from the others not being able to see from the smoke. Yeah, they said that smoke was all over the place, but when you riding the smoke stay behind you. How can you smell it when everything is being blown behind you? A couple of peeps said they saw me looking down and thought that I knew. I don't recall looking down at all and definitely didn't see anything. And (I) damn sure could care less about winning a trophy when it comes to possibly blowing up my motor.

I do understand your point of view Probial, but you guys shouldn't let peeps continue to race in those conditions. That should be a rule. They're jeopardizing (sp) other racers. Any bike that is smoking as if it's on fire should be pulled from the race. That's just my .02 on the whole situation. Beats me having to pay 1,000's for a new motor when it could've been prevented.

There was only me and about 50 other people trying to waive you down!  There was no stopping you!  There was no way of the flagman really telling what was wrong w/ your quad! Could have been something minor!  I wouldnt flag you off for smoke coming out of your motor unless i knew what it was!  And if you remember, I knew exactly what it was!  The flagman didnt have a clue, not his fault!
If you guys would have seen the track the day before, none of you would have even come out! Congratulations to the personal at Sand Mountain for there efforts!  The track turned out great compared to what i thought it would be. They were working on that track till 9PM the night before and 7AM the next morning they were back out!

Your the man brother!  First time riding a 450 on the track!  That thing will absolutely move! I appreciate you letting me ride something so I can get some points.  I tried my best on that beast, just sorry i bent your tie rod end!  I wont mention how i did that! ;)

hey rob man   its just one of thos ething man i have saw them black flag guys on the mx  track for smoke  coming out and  they  was sitting first thos eguys were friggin pissed  lol and it wasnt nothing major  u know i mean just  damned  if u  do and damned  if u  dont lol just one of thos ethings man

I have yet to finish a race and they're saying I need to move up as well. Think that I'll race once more in O/B then move up to O/A for the last race so that I can see how I'll get my but handed to me next series.

Thanx for those pointers JT. You're the man homie!!! If I can do half the things you do on "YOUR" bike I'll be pretty damn good. You definitely need to get your bike back up. You've been looking pretty uncomfortable the last couple of races ridin' on other peeps bikes.

I've been meeting some good quality peeps out at Sandmountain (Brandon, JT, Guys from Sanford and Daytona, Tony, and many others) You guys are alot of the reason why I continue to come out. Even though we're competing against one another peeps still show support. Brandon used to tell me lil secrets and give me tips, but now that I've gotten alil better he's stopped ;). I have yet to race him out there. Definitely lookin' forward to it homie. Hope that I can stay close to you.

One more thing... That Amatuer class should be interesting next series :o.

well i didnt have the best of days.... lol i stalled on the holeshot in the first moto of the open am class.. stupid bike kept wantin to stand straight up... then the second moto of the am class stupid axle bearings went out and my chain came off... but i guess thats part of it.  

Anybody know how many races are left in the series?

OK I have to comment. I am Lyndon's Dad. I seen Lyndon run 4 races on a 300ex and win them fairly easily, then 2 races on his brother's 450R and win them by a fair amout also. Then he gets 4th in the last race and to me it looked like he might have been faster than you. In points, if you look and remember he didn"t run the 1st race so you had a 30 point lead to start with. He probably can't win the series but I don't think you will have any trouble seeing where he is at. So anyway his days on the 300ex are very limited as we are looking for a 450R for him. So look for the kid on his new ride coming to a track near you so you can run against both of the Thacker Racing Team's 450R's Should be very interesting don't you think?  Just another proud dad's comment's  Dale

i give it to ya that 450r is runnin good he pulle dme down the straight but if u remeber back a few races when i had my race motor in my bike that didnt happen he never beat me as bad as he did  sunday i mean probably what 10 bike links i would say but  for a 430 motor to get pulled by a 450r with dirt bike cams  etc piped jetted  yatta yatta yatta  well how can u expect that  430 motor to pull it in  a 75 yard staright isnt gonna happen   and i am 60 points ahead of him so i give his  30 points for  the first race i  am still 30 ahead   so  theres the figure
all i can say is next  year i will be running a 250r like jasons i am gonna talk to rick about doin the motor for me  soon    so i am not worried to much about the 4 strokes on the tt track


i also got my 500 stroker crank back today  so  i dont got to worry about all those 450's pulling me no more

and the comment about him bein faster  than me  lol he is like 100 pounds lighter  on  20 more cc bike lighter bike etc  lol i do remember back like i said 3 races ago when  i got like 4 th or something he pulled the holeshot i was bumpin his back tires the whole race  on my 449 motor

OK that sounds better Brandon. Just give credit where it is due that's all. I watched the video of that last open beginner race and you did a heck of a job coming from behind to get second. The 450R was running good as the pipe really helped but a few more mods and it should be very competitive. I guess we will learn with this one and maybe know what the other one will need. I am ready to see both boys on the same track. Keep up the pressure it makes everybody better. Dale

You guys are killing me, Literally!!! I'm confused as to why you guys are debating about this. The points speak for themselves. Brandon is leading and the Kid (who can ride) is not far behind. He's young and still learning thus probably making him pound for pound the best out at SMS in my opinion. But wait one minute. You guys have all these mods done to your bikes, racing against guys such as myself and others that really don't know what we're doing, have minor mods (Slip on) or no mods at all, and actually holding our own. If I had all these mods done to my bike I should be smoking O/B class as well. I'm actually quite curious now to see how close I can finish if my bike finally makes it through all three motos. I saw that 450R pullin' w/ one of those 250R's this past sunday. THere's no way in hell my bike will do that. W/ that kind of power the kid w/ his ridin' skills should win O/B by half a lap. You as well Brandon.

well there is 4 or 5 of us that usually  run away from everybody    rob man u can ride bro i give  it to ya i am lookin forward to actually runnin a full race with ya  

but like anything else in life if u wanna do it good  u got to give 150 percent   and spending cash is what u got to do i have no bills yes yes i am spoiled i make over 700 a week an di have nothing better to do with my money than sink it into my bike  yea i take alot of pride in it  because i built the wholething myself      but i dotn have the riding skills jason  ,rick,wayne ,joey and all u guys got i am getting better i have only been racing for  4 or 5 months  so i like to have a nice  bike and it to look like a pro's bike no one ever sai du cant be a begginer and ride a pros bike lol but  i will be out of ob next year and let  u guys have it i will run am  and exp   but i will eithe rbe on a stroker ltz  or  a rtr 250r   both  should be ready to go hopefully by the next series but we will see what happens even on a rtr380 i doubt  i  can hand wit jason and thos eguys just very good riders  

OK Let me clear up the mods issue. The 450R started with just the HRC kit from Honda. Then we put a set of tires and a Dura-Blue axle on it. Last week we put a Baldwin full system pipe and we have lots of screwdrivers and wrenches. One more thing and I hope this doesn't offend you JT, but I think the 450R can be enhanced enough to keep up with 250R's. In fact I am out to see if it can be done.You know cam, piston, valves and a port and polish job is going to make a 450R run pretty decent. We shall see what it takes. Also thanks for the compliments on the Kid.

and that 250r of jt's  was pullin it down the straight with a burnt clutch i dont think  a 450r  without goin big bore over 500cc  is gonna run with those 380's  not much can touch them down the straight  as u can see the 310  of wes's realed the 450 in  sunday  he was a good ways behind and he caught it i hate 2 strokes as much as the next guy and want to build a 4 stroke that can hang with those 2 strokes down the straight  but unless u go like 520 or 560  i dont think a 4 stroke can hang thats why i am goin 500cc    but then u lose alot of engine life but  i have a few spare engines  so its no biggie  if it only last me 10 or 15 races    but i am tryin to do the same thing as u  beat those damn 380's lol

I hope you are wrong on that. I don't know until we try. Also I told Brandon T to slow down because I didn't think anyone could catch up but I was wrong and I will take the blame for that loss.

One last comment and I am done. Sandmountain is the very best place we have ran. I have more fun watching and the "boys" have more fun racing there We have run at Sunshine, Dade City, and Bartow but the riders, and the owners make Sandmountain Speedway very, very fun and exciting. Not quite convinced that a punched 450 wont hang w/ a 380 RTR quad!  You have to invest mucho coin to get it to, but the last time I checked it wasnt cheap for anyone!  
You punch out the 450 and it will do very very well! The only place my quad will have an advantage is going into the corner! Through the corners is a different story!  The big 4 strokes always make a bike length or two on me there! Thats why you see alot of riders on 2 strokes losing a race. Cant handle the wickedness of it!  Thats where RACE EXPERIENCE comes into play!  If I get close I WILL PASS YOU!  ;D But you can have all the motor in the world and it wont matter w/o skill!  The "KID" is developing alot of skill!
SO!  When your ready to beef that bad boy up! Give me a call!
I might no someone who will do it for ya! ;) Also, hang around after a race and ride w/ us! Would love to get behind him for a couple of laps! Maybe i could learn a thing or two! 8)

lol far from worried my brotha  lol i will put a friggin jet engine on  a frame and come out  and spank some ass on it not worried about being out rode  by anyone at sandmountain just about 5 or 6 guys out there who i cant outride and all of them all old  guys  lol
just got outbiked  the last couple of weeks like i said i have no problem put 5 k into a motor so  peeps need to not rub it in to much as to i dont throw it in his face when i  beat him 4 times this series  

he wont out bike my stroker motor next series  nore will that 450 pull  my  cs 430  motor on a mx track  but i dont got the stroker done yet as to making sure it perfect and getting max horespower out of it  i dont think  the 380's will pull the stroker motor  nore will they  pull a 520r  or 560r  but u better have a backup motor when u go that big cause it can go at anytime

guess i will have to be the giant killer and put that 380 down with the ol  z400 stroker motor lol not sayin how many cc's  i need to beet that lil 250 though  lol

ill wont beat those 380's until i improve a bunch in ridin skill

One thing you never want to do is "SLOW UP" w/ WES behind you! Hes like the energizer bunny! He is the best rider out there and his quad is VERY VERY FAST!
Instead of slowing up, next time i would suggest WRECKING HIM! Just slam him into the railing or something! Its almost the only way to beat him!!!! :o  The only way I beat him is w/ my "JEDI MONTRA"!

That has been my dad talkin the whole time on my sn. Thankz for the compliments I just like to ride. I cant wait though until I get my 450r so i can really go out there and ride instead of trying to be the fastest i can on 2 totally different bikes.

so i hate trinity  and tom carlson  wont do 2 strokes anymore  so  why no tlet a local  guy get er done     i am not sure if i will need the 250r  i got the stroker motor being  built  and its supposed  to  beat  the yfz470's by 5 bikes  in a drag so i dont   know if i will need the 250r  or not we will just have to see

Hey guys, thanks alot. I just figured it out. If we can't beat the big boys  with the hopped up Z's and 330's and 380's and so forth then you all saved me a bunch of money in parts and entry fees. Man, I am glad you all told me that cause these boys of mine really don't like losing and I hate putting them in the position of not having a chance to win you know? One more thing, we will be at Bartow MX Sunday if anyone wants to come we might give it one last try. hehe   Dale

Brandon, I don't know why you took the cheap way out. You put all that money to bump your Z up to a 450 when you coulda easily have saved yourself alot of flow by just outright buying one of the 450's.

Hey Brandon, How did you make it to the finals anyway? Just finished watching the video and it looks like the 2nd heat you flipped in turn 2 and were then lapped. So whats up SANDMOUNTAIN. We are always told that the results from the 2nd heat supercede the 1st heat. Looks to me that maybe Sandmountain may be catering to certain peeps!!!

The 2 heats are combined and averaged to determine the final!  Sand Mountain wont even cater to me and im special!!
I know this because my momma told me so! And also, I rode the short bus to school!

rob  first off anyoen can go buy a 450 and put a pipe on it   and they r the most uncomfortable  bike u can ride the yfz is  honda is ok    and i am the type of person to make something fast  so i dont mind building a biek so i bought the  z400 plus  its what i was sponsored  on from my uncle and aunt so i was used to the bike when i bought mine

Well that upsets me I was standing right there when he turned over I didnt even know who he was till you said that and wouldnt know him if he walked up to me. In this video did you see the guy pointing to him with the yellow flag not offering to even help him pick his quad up that was me. My wife and sister inlaws handle knowing who everyone it is not my job to know you I flag and drive equipment ask anyone if we show favorites. WE DONT AND WE NEVER WILL

And I didnt know that was you (atvaltz) that we started without I told you my own son missed a race we started without him that same weekend so is that favor or what so 01zx12r ask around

Sorry jt, Brandon won the guessing game. I'll give ya credit you can ride, just does not make sense that you are riding in ob, I know you are waiting til next season, I have read all the comments on the past post. I am new with all of this just purchased my Raptor a few months ago. The only time I have to ride is when I come to Sand Mountain. When I line up with you guys in the final race with all your tricked out quads to race I kinda fell out of place with my stock Raptor.  All I can do is keep try to keep up with all of you fast ones. well u dont got  to worry about me next week unless a   something strange  happens   something cam eapart in my motor tonight at dade city  starter wouldnt work after practice like it locked  up then i pull started  it an d  i can hear  something tinging  around in the  motor  so i dunno  what it is lol  these motors are getting exspensive though  lol there is 4k down the  drain  hopefully  not    maybe nothin major(yea right)

i will bring the blaster  next weekend if i have to lol

(ZX12R) The motors fine. I still had a full tank of oil in my bike when I checked it on the trailor. Guess that's b/c I use such a thick motor oil. (Motul 5000 Semi-synthetic) That other guys bike was reading under empty. But his oil looked a hella lot lighter in weight than mine. Ordered the billet plug for it and it should be here tomorrow. As long as I get it b/f Sunday. May still not be able to run this w/e. Unfortunate incident at work :-[ that left me w/ stitches and staples in my head >:(.

well i had to put my stock cylinder  and cams back in my bike  today since curtis  needs   my cylinder head and cams by late this week  so i will re jet my bike and be runnin a bone stock z400 motor  with just a pipe   and jets   lol but i will show u wassup on a stock z400 motor buddy

Actually, this might crack you up!  But the first race that i ever rode was when I was 7. I raced a Honda 70 atc!  The thing that I find funny is that when I raced my very first race, i did it with stitches in my head!!!  I have never thought about that until now!! If a 7 year old can race with stitches in his head then so can you!! BTW  I won that race!!  Still have the trophy somewhere!  24 years ago!

Yeah, I got stole >:(. The Sissy Mofo didn't hit me when we were standing face to face. When I turned to walk away he hit me. He pulled a cowardly act. That'll be (5) yrs. on top of all the 16 charges he's lookin' at. He tried to jump on me once I hit the floor but other inmates didn't like the fact that he hit me from behind when the whole time we were standing face to face he wouldn't swing. They pushed him off of me and wouldn't let him do more damage than he did. The stitches and the staples came from when I hit the floor (Ouch!). I go to work and do my job, BUT I DON'T TREAT PEOPLE LIKE SNIT! Unless it's deserving. Think that's why most of those guys helped me out.

Hopefully I'll ride sunday if my Racoon right eye goes away and my head stops throbbing. Now you guys see why LawEnforcement needs a payraise ;D. Write your county commisioners [smiley=ThumbsUp.gif]
