Its at the Seminole Indian Res. On the north side of Oceechobee.
hwy 70 to to 721 south. You will see red FTR arrows on the side of the road pointing in the right direction.
Its this saturday.
sign up starts at 7am till 9am.
Quad practice is at 930am. We race at 330pm

Cost will be a little expensive if its your first race.
40.00 for 1 year FTR membership
40.00 for race
20.00 for transponder rental and if decide to keep racing you keep the transponder. If you dont want to race anymore you will get 15.00 back at the end of the race.

You will need atleast boots, helmet, ect.
They wont let you race without boots and helmet.
Chest protector is not mandatory.

Great Track.....not a great day for me, flat tire and bent tie rod,  by the time I got the tie rod replaced I was left to a sixth place finish.

Congrats to Trevor and Jen who both had better days then I

Yep awsome track...
I was in 2nd place for a while and my front shocks could no longer take it. I knew in the start of the race that my shocks were blown. BUt only 2 weeks and the new ones will be here.

Well looks like I started to like this tight trails, guess there is no other choice, but my tie rod bent and that was all for me, but I was felling good, (no palmetto roots) but I guees I'll have to go for new shocks any way, got to save some $$$.
By the way, Paul you told me you love Chipley's track, is it tighter then this one here ??? I know you like tigh trails if it is I'm going to need to shrink my front end ...

I have a yzf450 LE,  and only hit a couple of trees but that's because I missed the short cuts,  never raced chipley, plus it's too far away from me.

Luis,
Chipley is one race you dont want to miss. The course is set up kinda wide through the woods. Alot like a GNCC style course.
Its well worth the drive. If I were you head out Fri night camp out or get a hotel room.
The camping is under big tall pine trees its very nice. None of this cow pasture stuff.
We are renting a RV for the weekend thats how nice it is up there.
Now on the other hand they had a hurricane blow through there this summer and not sure what it looks like.

But most definitley you want to whip out the credit card and get some new shock if you are gonna keep racing.
As far as the tie rod goes, get aftermarket. Get some Ricky Stators kinda of pricey but you will never bend one.
Trust me on that... ;D

Hey Guys!

Great racing at the Seminole Showdown!!  Was able to get a lot of great pics!   Check them out at the FTR gallery and at www.jonnyjpeg.com too!    I still don't know how you guys get those big machines through the trees so fast!  Scarry...Scarry

I will be at the next race too.  Looking forward to Chipley.
