That's approximately $15.00 per tree and they are selling them to landscapers. Each tree is probably going for something in the neighborhood of $200-300. That's a huge profit yet the author of the article is giving them accolades for 'donating' $50,000.00 to the school board. What kind of twisted crap is this? When it's all done and over with, I wouldn't be surprised if the Picayune will be declared a mis-managed project, doomed from the beginning and houses will end up on there anyway; too far gone to restore. Sick.
