Title: Hows Holylands?
Post by: klutchbuster400 on October 13, 2007, 07:28:23 PM
Well the other riding spot is underwater. And I'm getting the riding itch. I'm sure holylands is submerged, but how are the trails to the side of the parking lot? I just want somewhere to waste gas, legally.
Any info is GREATLY appreciated!

Hunting season appears to be from Aug 25-Nov 18 and also Dec. 8, 2007 - Jan. 28, 2008 and Feb. 2-3, 2008. Gathered from these pages:

http://myfwc.com/RECREATION/holey_land/whentovisit.asp (http://myfwc.com/RECREATION/holey_land/whentovisit.asp)
http://myfwc.com/duck/Duck_Hunting/Duck-hunting.htm (http://myfwc.com/duck/Duck_Hunting/Duck-hunting.htm)

October 15-19, 29-31 and November 1-2 appear to be non hunting days?

It all seems very confusing to me.

it is closed during daylight hours for hunting and is open for riding at nite only .
It is wet and I wouldnt go off the levee to far without 4x4
but the trails around the lake should be fine for sports.
