Here we go again.......Here are the classes.  Alright, driver's meeting at 10am, sign up after, race at 11am.  All entry fees kids class 10 per racer, 4-stroke/2-stroke class 15 per racer, open class is 25 per racer.  
 
*  Kids - 13 and less, 90cc and less, no dirtbikes.  TRIPLE ELIMINATION!!!!  
*  4-stroke 400 and less - must be 400 cc's or less 4 stroke, polaris scramblers, gasgas will run in this class.  
*  4-stroke 401 and up - 401 cc 4-stoke and up.  
*  2-stroke mod - any 2-stroke, any bolt on mods, must have stock jugs, stock swingarm.  
*  2-stroke full mod class - same as mod class, extended swing arms  
*  Utility - classified as utility, ranchers, rincons, grizzlies, sportsmans, prairies, etc. no scramblers  
*  Open - alky, nos, no limits.  
 
If you win 4 consecutive times you will be bumped to the next class.  no alky or nos in any class except open.  still will be double elimination.  when the class starts everyone will draw a #, and that is how the brackets will be filled.  
 
1-7 quads, pay 1st place  
8-15, pay 1st, 2nd place  
16-20, pay 1st, 2nd, 3rd place  
21-25, pay 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th place  
25-30, pay 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th place  
 
Also, there is a concrete pad for anyone that wants to do back to back quad pulls.

we have a few more coming out in may, chuck norris and his family and I have heard that big pimpin will be coming too.

cutngrs and smoke did not have adequate enough time to test and tune their bikes for the last race, so we will be bringing them out in may.  sure is gonna be alot of bling there in may.  i have heard some rumors that the tribal boyz are bringing a few more bikes out in may and lupo and brassart will be coming back.  talked to tony farrow and he said he will be there for sure, will badcompany show?  

cut i did forget about the mud hole....guys there is a nice mudhole to play in and LE and some of the tribal crew can verify this.  There is also plenty of room for the kids to ride all day, and the kids drag racing is nothing but a blast, and they never complain.

If someone can get in touch with the ortona boyz, that would be great....i don't have their phone number, but we definetly have some competition for them now....

I can't say if were going or not since I don't make the decisions, but I hope we can make it.  Are yall coming to Waycross?? Its a fast track, I ran a 4.33 saturday.

bad company, is that time with the flag bike? If so you guys got that thing running. 4.30's pretty damn fast for what you guys say you have done to it.

Yea it was the flag bike, still a gas 350, the only thing different about it since yall last seen it is a shaved seat and when i was cleaning the filters for the PS race, I realized that our slides in the carbs were only raising a little over 3/4 throttle.  Bumped it up to full throttle, ran 4.40s all night when the other pro-stock bikes were only running high 4.5 and 4.6.  I even ran a 4.79 with the other bike, and thats stock ports, swingarm, and fmf pipes.  The waycross track is clay like hazelhurst, and it hooks hard. It doesnt have a website. I was haveing to ride the clutch to keep it down out the hole and it came up when i hit 3rd a few times, even came up when I hit 5th once.

Dad said he wasnt sure about saltsdale yet, we'll see.  

Got the Day off from work and planing on being there. I am talking to a few other from up here to join us as well. I am Calling out BigPimpin(AKA Hollywood) ;D should be a good time so long as I stay on all 4   [smiley=ThumbsUp.gif]

badcompany, when is the race in waycross?  my bike is still not done, and will probably be a few more weeks, ran into some complications.  then another week to test and tune, so i probably won't be ready until around the next saltsdale race...  4.33 wow, that is impressive for 350...what carbs you running?  you still running a stock frame?  linked or shocked?  you keep it up, and we are gonna start calling you the wheel stander....

smoke, you saw it run a 4.34 in Valdosta, with consistant 4.5s, except we got it suckin more fuel.  Its the exact same setup, stock frame, gas 34mm lectrons, struts in the front and a no-link marvin shaw in the back. Waycross is a fast track too, but i havent been to different track to see how it will do since we opened it up though, but Scott says that the hazelhurst was even faster than waycross last week, but I wasnt there.  

The race is on the second saturday, you should go if the bikes together.  A good place to test and tune, they got the heads up and a bracket class and you an make all the passes you want on the track before the race.

I got a video to show you and you probaly will call me wheel stander, since I thought i was gonna tip the banshee.  It was rising in 2nd pretty high so i decided to just hit 3rd and it was a bad idea.LOL, had my heart pumping.

this is very fun I think you would run in the modded class. you need to bring the whole family it is a great place to spend the day.you will read it will sound like we are going to fight when we get there off what we say on the internet but it is all talk

Yes anyone can race. Bring it and they will set you up in the right class. It is a great time.

anybody can race...we actually had a foot race this past month to decide the winner, becasue the last two people in the class were riding the same bike....If we don't have a class for you, we will make a class, but do understand that if we make a new class for you, very few people might race in it...
10 for each kid to race, 15 for regular classes, 25 for the open class (which is alcohol, nos, etc)...if you have a stock swingarm you will race in the 2-stroke mod class...

we are like a big family at saltsdale....we pick at each other just like brothers...except papatribal is old enough to be my dad, so we have more like a father son relationship...we all know how that is, the son knows everything, can do everything.....youth over experience anyday baby.....

I want to see more utility guys come out and play in the mud and the trails....tribal banshee you need to explain what it is like for the utilities....le vinson knows too....

The mud is good! I'll tell ya you better have a pretty bad utility to get through the mud in the wooded area. some deep ruts especially now that I buried it in 2wd but outlaws did their job cause i locked it in and walked through it. I would have liked to see if LE vinson would have made it after that just to see how those tires he has do. But you get a few more out there tearing it up and it'll get real nasty!!  ;D

Hey  smoke , just  a  thought.  What  about  adding  a  youth  or  sportsman  class.  Rules  being  only  aloud  mods  are  pipe  and  tires  ages  13 to 16  yrs  old.  Limit  it  to  300 cc.  Just  thinking  of  the  older  kids !  ;D ;D

i was thinking about a 300 class but not put an age limit to it.....what about putting 350 warriors in that class or bumping them up to the 400 class?  

i am working on getting the directions, i can't find them, so i will have to re write them...

hey smoke can you also make classes by weight, that way us bigger guys don't have to race you light weights. HEHE When does all of this end. Just run the classes the way they are and if someone happens to show with a smaller bike slip them in somewhere. Hell for that matter you would have to make a class for every individual cause everybody has something different. Oh well just my 2 cent. I'll shut up now

This will be the first race that I have had to miss :'( :'(. I'm sure my daughters jazz recital will be just as much fun though :'( :'(. Who will be the new four stroke class king? Clermont? This will be the last cool weather race, gonna be HOT in June.

Where is this saltsdale place? are there any really fast quads there? i have a banshee.. i think its pretty fast. but i have never really raced against anything fast so i dont know how fast it is.  :o :o :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

it all depends on what you consider fast....i would say that we have some fast quads out there....definetly have some very EXPENSIVE quads out there for sure....best way to find out is to bring it out.....central florida (in between ocala and orlando) look up the town of UMATILLA....I am going to post directions...

fast, did you ever go to :08 seconds??? we have some fast bikes out here, we got papa running the new cubs, and his little tribal cheerleaders that follow him around and grade the starting line for him (their bikes are not as fast as his), cut just getting his back together, watson boyz always bring the best, and the GA boyz come with some fast stuff......i have heard about this t-rex that has been in the process of buidling for about 6 months, but it is always a NO SHOW.....It is alot of fun, so come on out...get to see alot of different things....

well to be honest, they are actually 1.25 lbs a piece...so that would be pretty darn light if you ask me.....putting roof on the house, so won't be racing until end of may, if i have the bike done by then...the roof is priority..

If you think that it takes Cut 2 months to put a 4 mill, 7 mill, or 10 mill in his bike, you guys really need some help.  You know as well as I do, that if he is going to have it down for 2 months, it is going through a serious OVERHAUL....

Lupo, from what I hear CUT didn't have to pay $2200.00 for a set of custom cut cases.  and as far as the triple rumor, BRING IT ON.....from what i remember Packard had the fastest triple at Planet Sand...  

Papa, 7 mill, 110hp on gas is not going to get the job done....TRUST ME....

smoke is broke....the crank seperated tonight and cut can verify this....looks like we can salvage some parts and put it back together by the 28th....seperated crank, hmmm, how about a 7 mill, turbo, and/or nitrous???

smoke thats good cause he'd be an idiot to pay that for cut stock cases, but for that dinky little shiot he has he doesn't even need to cut case or get after market. As much shiot as your talking up about the juice machine, I hope he does have more then what he's told Brassart he has cause if not he's gonna get real mad at you when he gets his azz handed to him! Once again your all worried about what we're doing, just worry about that piece you got and get it to where it will at least run with a blaster. smoke looks like you all need to find a builder you or cut can't seem to keep a motor together. Knock on wood but I've built 8 motors in the last 3 months and it seems like there running pretty damn good concidering 3 of them were in the top 3 in full mod class last month and I even put that flag bike together thats out there and they run the shiot out of it non stop! I told you before bring it down and we will get it running, and it will stay together!!!!!! Did it mess the cylinders up?

Thank You to ceohunny for the help. Is there a minimum age limit for competitors, and what are the safety requirements as far as protective gear. Im kinda what you might consider a rednek i guess, safety gear to me is a helmet and jeans...sometimes. Just curious.

Both of my kids have raced ages 7 and 10. I put the kill switches on the bikes and they wear the boots chest pertector and helmets, over the ankle boots

helmet, over the ankle boots....and a kill switch is mandatory on any bike 300cc's and up....kill switches are not mandatory on utilities or kid's bikes...

Do you mean kill switch as in a stok type kill switch on the handle bars, or a tetherline type switch??

its your first time there they may let you slide with kill switch  the kids dont need em  at lest not yet ;D

we can have a class for the 300 ex's and 350 warrior's (one class both together)....250r gonna run in the 2stroke mod class with me....also if you have the +2 inch axle extender that runs in the 2 stroke mod class also...all of the other extended boys gotta run in the full mod...if there are any triple's there they will have their own open class...we will have all the 2 cylinder guys together this month...

Having to run the 400's is what has kept me from coming down. Now I need to get a kill switch and then will not have a reason for not giveing this a try. If all works out I will be makeing my first trip down with Chuck_norris and Bigworm. One of you guys PM me about when you are leaving and all else. Or maybe I will stop by the shop one day this week. Have done just about all other types of drags but not this it should be a trip. Looking forward to this. ::)

In the past we have gotten the large ones for the front winshield like Billy and I both have on our trucks and we have gotten the small ones that can be put on a back window. dyno, as far as my ability and backing it up I'm not worried about cause last month proved that with tribals taking 1,2,3rd place in the 2 stroke class. This month should be even better cause we should have 1 in mod class, 3 in full mod, and 2 in open and they all are flying also and that is a fact because we've already tested them out. If you think Franks bike runs good then I guess I did a good job. All we have to do is make sure the riding is up with the bikes. IF so we will be hard to beat. Time will tell! But there is gonna be some good close races SAT if everybody who says is gonna come shows up it should be awsome!;D SEE YA AT THE RACES!

Cut, you will need MAJOR changes from saltsdale to run good in hazelhurst or waycross, Valdosta is closest to the same as saltsdale out of any of the tracks we run.

8 am.....just got done working on the track for the past 2 hours....the track is definetly HOOKING GOOD....Bring the paddles...the dirt is dry and soft, so paddles are looking like the chose of tire tomorrow...possiblity to get a little shower tonight, so might harden up some...breakfast at 7 am at THE MASON JAR...gates open at 8 - 8:30 am...sign up at 10:00 am...

the muddhole is looking good too...lots of mudd in it right now...the utilities should have lots of fun tomorrow...

Man there were some good races today! some really fast bikes. Had a blast, good seeing ya Tony, and badcompany, and everyone else. I guess we let Ga boys take the crown this month but I think they got a little beat up taking it. There's always next month. The cubbies are getting faster and faster each race, just gotta keep the bugs out. Can't imagine them things on alcohol. That by far is the fastest i've ever been on a bike, but hope to go faster ;D

i wanna see some pictures......thanks guys, the bike is finally running....the 250 port job and cut's motor building skills sure turned that bike around from being a turd from the screwed up port job before....we still have some testing and tuning to do to the banshee, because she is a wheel stander....it might not of looked pretty yesterday, but it sure was fast....great to see badcompany and tony, we are going to plan to come to hazelhurst or waycross in the next couple of months....alright guys here are the results....no mor trash talking from smoke, but you guys better have your $hit running next month, becuase we are going to fine tune the smokn xpress....

If your just running 300ft and not doing back to back runs you shouldnt need one. as long as you have enough cool down time. just my 2cents.

What's up with all of those Farrow boys winning in the 400 class. Smoke you have it listed wrong - I was first and my two boys came in 2nd and 3rd. But either way you list it, the Farrow family won!!!  ;D

Daniel don't worry about Smoke- he knows he don't have nothing for your bike. He even had some funny smelling gas  and still didn't out run you. If you look on the video he didn't wheelie up on the last run at all, it was a straight run and you almost run him down on the stock bike with Pro Wedges.

Everyone has got to love Smoke. He's what makes the sport fun. He gives us someone to out run! LOL  ;D ;D

We had a great time! Good to see everyone again. Right now the GA Boys have the crown so if you want it back come to Hazlehurst, GA to get it on June 18, race starts at 6:00PM and I'll be glad to give you guys the directions on how to get there. Come early Test and Tune @ 4:00PM.  

Wasn't no alke on my orange bike, it is stock 350 crank, stock cly & stock head and it was running on 87 pump gas. It was rolling - watch the video!!! Didn't need any high tes fuel or any funny smelling stuff. Yes my Black/Yellow bike is on alke but it has a 350 stock crank, stock head and stock cly. Now get some Rags! ;D ;D ;D

cut, you make me laugh, All I can say where was the all mighty crush??your such a good mechanic that that crushed bike you kept saying was running unbelievable wasn't even at the track.At least we had all the tribals there.  supposedly, I'm sure it was because it was putting out so much power that you pulled every head stud out of the cylinders. I think it's more like you don't own a tork wrench so you tighten them up as tight as you can get and when motor fires up they pull out cause of vibration and comp. Smoke already told on you so just admitt it! Imagine that, me with a tork wrench and you good with a degree wheel, we'd be unstoppable! HEHE ;D
 and yes that stock bike I brought didn't do much but not because it doesn't have the power, more like wasn't hooking on track like it should have and you could take fastest bike out there and no hook no go! But that bike won't be there anymore anyway I just wanted to make sure motor was going to stay together before I gave it back to it's owner. What better place to test it out! I'll tell you what though, put what ever money up you want to and we'll run asfault and I'll eat smokes bike up cause I know i'll get it to hook there. As for Shawns bike it's got some buggs to be worked out but will be back real strong and will definitely be  real tough to beat. And as for Frankies bike ask him who built his bike. And it does haul a$$ but you ain't seen nothing yet, cause you got to admitt that if you can hang with Tony and Badcompany your flying and we've proved that on gas. So go study your degree wheel a little more and maybe when your bike finally gets to the track it will stay together! :D ;D  never know, mine might be there next month hopefully I'm waiting on some new spark plugs that give you 50 HP! Enjoyed the racin saturday.  Nice seein all that came, hopin for bigger turnout next race.  Nice job on the track smoke, like daniel said, smoothest yet.  May need to work on shut down area a little, I saw the whole underside of your bike in the left lane after a couple of your passes.  

Hope you all keep smilin while your fingers are talkin.  Sounds like we may need to close the track and put a 10X10 ring in.  May even have a bigger crowd!!   :D :D We could get some of those big sumo wrestler suits and have a go of it after each pass, if loser wins, loss is cancelled!!

well Tony it was pretty easy for you to take the 400 class when all we did was red light btu that is ok there is next time and I am going to waycross so if any one is thinking about going we clermont will be there maybe another month or so we will try to come up to hazelhurst

So which other florida boys are coming to GA to try and get the crown back?  Waycross is in two weeks, just remember, leave the paddles at home. ;)

Lupo, I can tell you it was not because cut over torqed anything, it was because of the bad helicoil job that someone else done to the cylenders, but its all GOOD right??we will see you all next month!!

Don, yeh I know it was bad helicoils just got to bust his chops for not bringing it out. Those things don't ever seem to work! And trust me Cut I know you were frustrated with that shiot cause it always comes down to the last minute, but look at us at the track. We where working on em all the way up until we raced and then couldn't get one to run. It seems like they run great until race day then all of a sudden they say no I don't think I want to run today, but I guess thats part of racing! Just get it ready for next month. See Ya

Get them on 8s or 10s.  We used to run 8s, then we tried 10s.  COuldnt really tell a difference, i would get 8s though since they are lighter.

I dont want to say too much but from what I seen I bet he might be competitive. These 2 quads are sick. Full out drag machine's. Only thing that dosnt look right is the 5' wheelie bar out the back. But what ever floats their boat.
