Title: He's getting faster and faster Post by: Ride1Rob on September 02, 2007, 10:14:24 PM He's getting the hang of this pretty good. Only a couple of months on this bike and his riding skills have stepped up tremendously. Machinery can definitely help ones confidence. He has no problems shifting through the gears but he doesn't quite understand he needs down shift into 3rd so the bike won't lug in some of the corners. I even sat him on my bike with me on the back and he can start off in 1st and shift through the gears using the clutch. Pretty good for a 6yr old :ThumbsUp.gif

He's really into jumping but he doesn't really have the aggressive attitude to ride hard all the time. Depending on his progress I may get him involved in some type of racing soon. Maybe one day he'll be like you ;) .

Bring him to the TT races at Thunderbowl we have a 4yr old that races a 50cc and does super. Most of the kids are in his age group. |
