Is this a good place for slow riders vs. folks on go fast ATV's?
We enjoy taking our time, hitting a few mud holes and such.

Coal creek is great, I just got back form there on Labor day weekend, what a great place to ride. They have mud, hills, rocks whatever you want. It's nice to ride up some hills, due to the fact that I live in Florida.

Its a mx track carved in the woods .....almost like some of the trails but with awesome jumps !! I will be going back !! the trip there and back , campsite and riding , cost me $266 (including the goggles i bought in the Pro Shop), A buddy and I split the cost 50/50 ......NOT BAD!! oh yeah .....the drag strip is top notch !   I had 1 of the fastest 4 strokes there ( thanks ATP) hehehe    IF you have not been to this place .....IT IS A MUST THAT YOU GO CHECK IT OUT!!!! you know the feeling you get when your on a roller coaster  as it is climbing to the top.... then right before it drops and all hell breaks loose? well thats what i got crossing the road at DP to the trails ....The first couple hundred yards is the climb and then you hit the wide trails and whoooooosh  all hell breaks loose ! A roller coaster on an atv !! I am MISSING that place bad !!  :'(

whats the best way to get to DP from Miami... I-95 or I-75 and how long might it take me to get there. i would like to try to plan a trip there sometime in 03-2008.

go north on I-95 exit on I-16 W just N. of Savannah go to US-1 go N. to Hwy 44 go left. Take Hwy 44 for 3 miles and turn right on Randolph Church Rd. DP is 1.5 mi on left.
or you can:
I-75N to Macon to I-16 toward Savannah. Exit on Hwy 129 (Gray Hwy) and go north to Gray. Take left to Eatonton. In the square at Eatonton take right onto Hwy 44 to Greensboro. In downtown Greensboro, take right at light and an immediate left at Hardee's. Go 11 miles to caution light at Woodville. Continue straight 1.5 miles and follow the blue arrows on posts to Durhamtown Plantation.
