Title: Which of these Blaster suspension up-grades would you choose?
Post by: LonesomeTriZ on August 21, 2007, 11:40:37 AM
After this last ride I went on when all machines Failed (including my new YFZ) I realized my Blaster is a much better quad than I have given it credit for. It has yet to let me down. I have a new frame and a lot of upgrades in the shed for it for when I get back. Which of these two widening techniques should I choose? I love the +3 +1 a arm set up, but the bolt in widening kit is a lot cheaper and in my opinion plenty strong enough for what I will do with it. However, my a arms are pretty worn out and I like the fact that I only have to replace the tie rod ends on the after markets. What do you all think?

the +3 is the way to go. that other one is only for slow trail riding. any extra strain on it and it will break. read that in dirt wheels!!!

My Blaster is more of a back up ride any way. That is the only reason I am considering that and not the A arms. Plus, I really do not want to buy the high dollar shocks I have to get to go slong with the after market A arms. I really do not want to drop a grand on this upgrade.

How much were the Elkas? They told me the YFZ shocks along with the Blaster Banshee and so on would not work. It would appear that the shocks are what is going to end up being the problem.
