Title: Oil light is ON in my 4X4 Post by: EigerGuy on August 14, 2007, 12:41:50 PM so after riding for a while my oil light came on in the eiger could the bike be burning oil it wasnt running hot or nothing there arent any leaks and the dip stick is fine its just a little low

You may have a blown fuse for the fan and the oil is not getting as cool as it should, as fast as it should. This had happened to me after riding through a bunch of water. Replaced the fuse, the fan came on and never a problem since. I say that, but I just remembered it happened twice. :D

I like the ride and I did not notice any power loss that was said it would have. Mine is completely stock other than the tires. JoeDirt gave me some jets for it, but I have yet to put them in. 27s fit real nice under the fenders.
