They made a movie about it call airport '77. There really isn't much of it the biggest piece is one landing gear with torn up tires. The rest are little pieces of aluminum scattered all over.

I know it was in the 70's when the plane crashed out there. there isn't much to see and now with the water back up you need a 4X4 quad to get around which I don't have. not this weekend but next I would be willing to go and get pulled around on my raptor if someone is willing to drag my azz out of the mud.

It's been somewhere about 12 years since I've been there. I tried to go weekend before last on Aug 4th It has changed alot.
