I like that Ford, off topic but my friend in High School built a '76 F-250 w/ his dad who was an old school engine builder, it was only 2 wheel drive though, it had a 390, 4 spd. standard(granny first, you could start out in 2nd) Erson cam,850 double pumper, headers, & 32" Swamper's, looked like a 4x4.
That was one fast azz truck, he would mess w/ people in 5.0's back around 90 when they were the shizzit, he would beat them, it was funny seeing the look on there faces when this old primer painted truck w/ mud tires & a big old 3' gear shifter up in the air would eat them up.
His dad's name was Lydon Perkins, awesome engine builder, grew up w/ the owner of Tampa Tire Co. on Broadway in E. Tampa.
Thats where he bought his Swampers on a payment plan, LOL, he would go threw those soft tires pretty quick on the street though.

I loved that truck, had one of the healthiest sounding motors I've heard, untill he let mud cake up on his radiator & burnt the motor up, his dad could tell somethin was wrong just by the way it sounded, he looked at the radiator, seen that mud & got so mad, it was the maddest I ever seen that man.

390 is a bad azz motor !

If its got full hydraulic steering , its not DOT approved.
