Title: help with ducati selection

well i am in the market for a street bike and want a 749 dark. i found 2 but am torn between them, both are the same price...

bike 1---
-06 749 dark
-5800 miles
-bone stock
-still under warranty till 08/08
-just had its 6000 mile service($750)

bike 2---
04 749 dark
-700 miles
-needs its 600 mile service($250)
-no warranty
-has terg exhaust($big dolla)
-many extras-cf parts, clutch cover, cf tail, etc

I love the Ducati line. I am a big V-Twin fan and wish you luck on your selection. I have several friens in Broward that ride Ducati's and one races as a amatuer.

id get the one with a warranty. and no custom parts.

the thing that gets me is the 06 has nearly 6000 miles on it.  thats a lot for a bike thats 8 months old

get bike 2, the chances of it breaking down are very slim unless you abuse the crap out of it.

not necessarily always broke, but requires regular service that is expensive
