Title: burning oil? Post by: Fox17 on June 04, 2007, 11:58:20 AM does anyone elses ranchers or recons or XR400s burn oil? it just seems that every time i check the oil on them they need some oil. they dont smoke or anything and they run fine but after 2 rides (and a check between them) one rancher and the XR were really low. they didnt even register on the dipstick. the recon and the other rancher were low but not as bad. is this normal or is something wrong?

Do they have external oil tanks? If so...It's just the oil going back into the motor after a couple days from it sitting. It's Normal.. Title: Re: burning oil? It's Normal.. no, they all have the oil in the engine. well, the XR has oil in the frame (why i dont know but the DR-Z400s are the same way too). |
