Looking to go camping up Ocala way this weekend..need a place with hookups for an RV, but will also take tents... any ideas? Big Scrub has basic bathrooms and water in the center camping area. No power. Gen sets off at 10pm $5.00 a night. Ride out right from your RV or tent. From Mill Dam you have to take 40 east 5 miles to 588 then south on 588 9 miles to Big Scrub. You can also follow the fence line west to the last entrance of the mobile home park (mill dam lake) and jump in the woods there. It is a beautiful place to ride around the lake.
