does anyone have any plans to ride anytime before the rally? if so when nand where?...i think it would be nice to meet some more people before the rally...

i planned on going down with a group but plans have changed and most likely I'll be alone

It in the northern part of ONF. From HWY 40 east of Ocala turn left (north) on HWY 315. Go to Ft McCoy , about 11 miles , and at the light , theres only one , turn right on HWY 316. Go over the BIG bridge and take your first left. Go past the homes till you see on your right a brown Entering Ocala National Forest sign. Take your first left after the sign and your there ! Come one , come all ! It should be a great time ! ;)

is there a campground right there?

Not a campground but you can camp there. Some of the people will be in motorhomes and others in tents. 8)

Hey Paul, I've heard some crazy stories about you guys. Tell us what the pit is like at this place.

I heard the pit was closed... where is it in relationship to lake delancy/salt springs ...due N. on the same road (can't remember the number right now?) as lake D. do you have an addy I can map quest?

from 75 go east on 40 to 315 (315 is where lakeD is isn't it?is it n. or S. of there?)

315 is just east of Silver Springs. Silver Springs is just east of Ocala. ;)

  ill be driving down from north carolina and ill be getting in on the 24th and be there till the 29th ,  pm me your number and ill call you when i get to florida and we can figure out where to meet and drive there and ride for the day  sat .  whats your screen name on bansheehq?

THE PIT AND SURROUNDING AREA IS CLOSED  As of this week, Greenways and Trails has closed the Eureka Pit area and all the trails that run under the bridge and south on Greenway property.  They have contracted with Marion County Sheriff's Office to enforce this closure.  This Weekend they will issue warnings and next weekend they wil issue ticket varing from $180 to $300. If you want to ride in this area, you need to ride on the Ocala Forest designated trails.  You can still park on FR 97 (the Pipeline) at where the trails cross andride from there.

looks like a big bust

well 4 showed up... boy ocala really sucks now, complaining about the tree's & they plow down A whole bunch to make A new parking lot... you cant park anywhere near rancho anymore have new lot at 445 & power lines & only 1 trail there that you can ride on & the powerlines between 445 & paisley rd (rancho) atv's only not multi-use

had A good time cj, Doug, &? (Doug jr) sorry bad w/ names...BTW, lake D wasn't to bad.
