Title: Okeechobee Prairie CLOSED!!!!!!!! Post by: TRX450R_Racer on January 15, 2005, 02:52:22 PM Some of my friends own property out there. One of them was going out there today to put in a culvert. The Sheriff's Dept was turning people around at the bend where all of the people that don't know any better park. Saying you can only ride on your own property. Any riding on the grass, dirt, paved roads or property that wasn't yours would result in a ticket and possible impound of your quad. They also told him they wouldn't be lenient.

Title: Re: Okeechobee Prairie CLOSED!!!!!!!! Post by: muddogg on January 17, 2005, 02:01:24 PM well thats a fine dowdy doody!! i was supposed to go here this coming saturday.
i still ride in miramar off the 75/turnpike exchange, i know you ain't supposed to, but i have been riding there for years, got kicked out a bunch and a few tickets for traffic type things, but no major hassles. plus i park in the woods with the truck, not right there at the road like some many bozos do. lots of people ride off 27 out at holy lands too.
