Could someone please give me directions from Jax to a good spot here. We have utility ATVs and want to do some long trail rides.

We went out there about 8 months ago. It was pretty good the first ride because it was a little wet, the second ride was dry and very bad. The dirt is very black so you can't really ride there when its dry. My brother lives in Lake city and he went out there a couple a weeks ago and said its good now. I just hate to bother hunters during hunting season is why I have not been over there, maybe after hunting season we will ride there. If you take I-10 west to hwy 90, go toward lake city it will be on the left before you get into lake city.

for those interested in north florida, lake city area,,,,there is the alaphaha river located just north of jasper (actually exit 460 off I-75)....waters still going down because of flooding from hurricanes, but won`t be long now.......just like sand dunes with white sand and hills and jumps...awesome for quads and 4 wheelers alike.(used to take my jeep down there and it is great to play in).  the river bed dries up for miles and is white sands-a-plenty..... please feel free to ask me more questions as i have just purchased my first atv quad and now have the fever to ride....soon as it warms up a little of course....happy wheelin` guys...scoob
