Title: I need to clear the air a little. Post by: JackL on April 30, 2007, 02:34:19 PM On a very recent ride it has been suggested that I abandoned a rider in an unfamiliar place.
I need to make it 100% crystal clear that JackL would NEVER abandon a fellow rider EVER, under ANY circumstances. EVER!!! It wouldn't matter if I had drank 12 beers and had 3/4 of a bottle of Jack Daniels in me already PLUS an open beer gift I believe is usually reserved for girls who are going to wake up feeling very badly. What I would do if a fellow rider were to hook up out at a ride is say, good luck and use a condom as I watched them ride AWAY. PERIOD. As a matter of fact, when I tired of the little tiny, girls only BABY like mud holes this place Area 51 I rode had to offer, a stranger with a POOLARUS developed some sort of trouble and I had to tote his junk all the way back to his camp, FIVE miles from the ONLY warm place I knew, and I was covered in 3" of the nastiest goop mother nature has to offer and soaking wet in 60 degree weather. WE were the last two to leave the special kids mud hole section, and ANYONE who feels they would like to dispute the events as I have told them remember that I carry a camera, and everything is documented in high rez quality BEFORE you step up in MY thread. I guarantee if anyone would like proof of this I will post ALL of my pictures to a server hosted by ME and anyone who questions me will be given FULL access to view them as they please before I go through and pick and choose the ones I feel need commentary to get the full humor and post here, the sausage shack, the main gate of Area51, RRR(lol).com, reefcentral.com, funnyatwork.com and liar.com. What I can say is my next trip to Area51 will be alcohol free, and I will be disclosing the details to some friends shortly, I think everyone involved will get a laugh and I may just get some respect if I can accomplish what I intend to do. Another thing, I'm not sure why some of you folks run your generators all night long, but for your own sakes PLEASE goto Home Depot and purchase a Co (Carbon Monoxide) detector and check the batteries every week before sleeping inside a potential death trap. As a guy who has extensive experience with noxious gasses, generators and a wide variety of weird stuff I can't even talk about to civilians, I would normally just let darwin fix things as he saw fit, but some of you honestly don't know about these things and need to learn about them, because I like nearly all of you and would actually shed a tear if something did happen and someone died because a guy like me didn't take the two minutes to make a post like this to hope and wake you up...(inside pun there)...for a friend. For the more tech savvy here, please google "inverter" so I can get the peace I so crave. Thank you for making it all the way down here to hear what little ole me had to say. ..and for the love of god, attend the Rally!!!! Florida needs some more places to take the burden off the few that exist. Edit: Freudian slip removed Title: Re: I need to clear the air a little. Post by: JackL on April 30, 2007, 03:11:00 PM If he had it would have sounded more intelligent :o I'm working on about ten hours of sleep over three day, cut me some slack. Three spent on top of a generator. I can imagine if that was you, my host would have had to sweep up more disgusting things than a pile of mud. Title: Re: I need to clear the air a little. Post by: JackL on April 30, 2007, 03:12:23 PM Another rambling post sleeper! ??? Well at least yours wasn't rambling. And you could have waited till around 7:30 pm to make your inane comment so I got a free bump to the top. Thanks anyway. Title: Re: I need to clear the air a little. wtf CHUCK...? sOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED TO pry the keyboard away & get some sleep & stop anticipating a response to your post. What goes on at __ __ stays @ __ __..... Do you have a uncle Bounty? Post by: Joedirt on April 30, 2007, 03:42:22 PM I can honestly say , I do not think anything could have happened this past weekend that a simple PM or email could not have solved. A public "Look at me Post" will get you nowhere. It always turns south when someone starts posting about a misunderstanding that happened in Polk....Keep it private.
Most people are not overly concerned. Thanks for the advice on the CO detectors.... Title: Re: I need to clear the air a little. A public "Look at me Post" will get you nowhere. It always turns south when someone starts posting about a misunderstanding that happened in Polk....Keep it private. Most people are not overly concerned. Unfortunately, a simple Pm or email will/was not going to clear this up, and I needed to rant. You can feel free to skip my posts you know. The title clearly indicated it was going to be a whiny rant. Thanks for the advice on the CO detectors.... You are welcome. I just don't want that helicopter scaring me in the middle of the night. I've ridden em. I don't like having two more CV joints and boots to worry about. When I ride, I ride hard and real. I need as dependable a machine i can get. Maybe by 2011 they will have worked the bugs all the way out f the KQ's. Don't get me wrong, it is a great bike for light riding in a little sand and maybe a mud puddle in the driveway, but no one on one could ever keep up ridin' with me. ;) Title: Re: I need to clear the air a little.
