Title: Been To CROOM lately???
Post by: tvman on February 04, 2005, 11:54:12 AM
Has anyone been out to Croom State Park lately?

I'd like to know if the water in the Sandpit has dried out..

Anyone got any recent pics or anything?

nope still has water in it.  A good bit to.  My guess is it won't dry up at all this year, by the time it starts getting close, it'll be rainy season again.

There is probably 20-30 yards between the lake and the woods on the left side (if your looking from the parking lot) and 10 yards on the right.  a good amount of space on the end near the parking lot and there is still water to the fence in a couple places on the other side.

There today, still looks pretty much like a lake!! Sure was nice looking day up there. Only saw about 10 people around 2pm, but lots coming in for the night as I was leaving.
