Title: Apology/retraction Post by: lisa on April 25, 2007, 06:34:28 PM I was wrong about something and I want to address that here. Bounty did not tell me my thread was deleted. It was during a discussion I had with someone else that I discovered the thread deleted. I am posting this, so there are no mistakes about it. I have already admitted to one mistake, being a responsible person, if I make a mistake in public, I will apologize so.
I have been asked to take it easy, so I won't be on here for a while. Good luck with finding a new rally location, good luck with the association. Hope ya'll get what you want out of both. Thank you. Title: Re: Apology/retraction Post by: Chillinthemost on April 25, 2007, 07:41:06 PM I truly think your heart is in the right place, you are just attacking the wrong people. I have kept my mouth shut but you have attacked some close personal friends of mine and really ruffled some feathers so my respect for you is gone.
Title: Re: Apology/retraction Post by: Bounty1 on April 25, 2007, 09:25:41 PM Thank You Lisa for doing the retraction. That showed me true character. Guys and gals we will never agree on all topics all the time, but that is O'k, it makes for great debate and also good reading. Lisa the way you come across on a computer may not be the way you comes out in person. There will be questions arise out of the new association and the members representing us, but if you lighten up the questions or remarks they will not appear to be threatening to people. I gaurantee you the response will be a lot different. When I first got on ATVFL.com, all I read was how people wanted to hear what you have to say and I saw "Lisa show us the way". Lisa we can all show the way together in our fight to get more riding areas. We will all have to work with the enemy--not lynch them. I used to think of these people as the enemy, but not anymore, they have to make decisions on law--environmental impacts--and people who have different interests. There are many obstacles in our way, it will not happen overnight and we have to work with the people in government. When attacks do come to them, they close their ears on us. I would rather for them to listen. I received some great news today, while working with the other side. This group did not want us to ride at all, but it turned out a lot better than I thought it would. I will tell someone to post it for me soon, for there are some folks that do not want to read my posts. I can say guys and gals what we agreed upon will make ONF a much better riding experience for you and possibly for me. Thank You again Lisa for the retraction. Raymond (Bounty)
