i was out there on sunday in my big truck with a few others mudding. A bunch o fmetor dade cops were handing out tickets and telling everyone to leave and dont come back. They saw us come in, and stopped us when we were leaving.

1. a litlle girl got hit by a jaska$$ hauling tail downt hemain road and got severly hurt..
and
2. they are tired of people doing riding in the farm feilds.

we were told to spread the word that it was closed.

so now we have [pretty much no laces to ride except a few "secret" spots.

i just heard of this place and it close now . we are truly runing out of places to ride.

Well Ive been riding out there for a while and its been closed before you just can stay on the main roads or farm feilds. Dont go hang out by the fire, thats where all the shi* goes down. You just got be carefull

I was out there last week and FWC came by asked me what I was doing and I said riding

He said Ok. Any firearms on you

I replied no.

Then he ask where we came from and I said Jacks.

He said have a nice day.

He didnt even care we drove across US1 to get there

well  this ant stoping me is the homstead high school entrence area where there stoping every one and what about behined the baseball park

 ::)ME AND A FEW PEOPLE WERE RIDING LAST SATURDAY,A LADY MIAMI DAD COP IN A TRUCK ASKED US IF OUR BIKES WERE REG TO US AND TO STAY OFF THE FIELDS.SHE TOLD US SHE USE TOO RIDE HER SELF AND SHE SAID ITS OKAY JUST STAY LEGAL.I THANK THEY ARE REALLY LOOKING FOR THUGS WITH STOLEN BIKES AND PEOPLE WHO LOOK LIKE TROUBLE.WE WILL SEE.I HOPE IM RIGHT.

Thats true if you are not riding on the dirt roads and farm fields you will be allright. A dirt road is still a number road and it is illegal to actually ride on the dirt roads, just stay in the wooded areas. and dont go in farm fields.

i hope they dont close it down  :(

i went today and no one said any thing say sum ppl out there but no cops kickin ppl out but lets try to be safe out there i saw this kid flip his 3 wheller in to a ditch

i was out there tonight and some not a very nice person shot a few flares into the coastguard area next to it and caused a massive fire. well, because of that dont be surprised if it is closed for good. you could see the flames from jacks.

yeah it sucks that the hump is closed , but im sure that one of the reasons is the vandals, cops are sick of filling out reports of people trucks and cars getting trashed while they are riding, i contacted a few metro friends in the area as well as fl.city  cops and they were telling me how there sick of calls about cas getting broken into and vandalized. the say the only way to keep that down is to not let people out there, some of them are riders them selfs but they say from a department stand point "as long as the calls come in fom out there, we gotta go "  there was one night that they did reports on 7 cars and trucks at the same time, all broken into all vandalized.............. that is what gets them out there, police reports.........as for the few who park at jacks, that will only be for so long, the lot was sold and willl be built on soon.. from what i was told its a few kids that walk in from the apartments over by the school. so if you see kids walkinmg in the back way keep an eye out, the dont come if there not called.............................................

Yea I saw that sh*t, my buddy tried to put it out and we told him to get the hell out of there before the man comes.

So It will probaly be shut down. And theres nothing we can do about it.

Yea well they shut it down but they cant block off the roads because they are public roads.

hey i wont be out there this sat but the next sat ill be out there riding anyone want to join i go threw a difrent way but i can give directions on that way

i was down there today with my truck pullin a little ranger out..the wind shifted and some embers went over and started the hump up again. there was a few people out there on bikes, and there was no police or ag. patrol out there.

That really sucks... >:(  I haven't even been out there but from the pics it looks really good. One or two little ***** go out there and mess it up for a ton of people. You can't really blame the cops for this either. They are just trying to keep the place in order. The little ********* could show up with his quad on the trailer and say that he is just looking for somewhere to ride just like we would. I wouldn't go back out there for a while. Mabye if we just don't go and break the rules then they will open it back up. :(

I guess I will be moving to West Virginia.. They embrace ATV riders there.. there are some towns that allow peopl to rude ATV's on the main streets of town.
Florida sucks...

i hope you can find a job there.  times are tough in W.V or stay in FL and sell your quad for a WAVERUNNER

cops will give you a ticket if you past the canel on the west next to the farmers field. talk to them today. there looking for ppl ride on the north side on the street.

Riding areas are not the real problem in Florida.  Education IS.  I've never seen such lousy spelling and ignorant speech. Go to school morons. Most of the people posting here are probably the same ones causing alot of the problems with the riding areas as well. Say one thing and then do another when riding in a group with other idiots. Or just stand around and watch it occur.  With such big mouths, try actually doing something next time, instead of pretending to act concerned on this forum.  I see jerks doing stuff all the time and I let them know what a**holes they actually are and that I am going to report them to the authorities.  Surprising how quick they leave when you have actual data on them and TELL them your going to use it. I carry a digital camera and take their picture commiting the deeds.  I have filled out numerous police reports. Not just for irresponsible riding.  For illegal dumping and fires as well.  If you don't make the distinction between them and you, then they assume everybody is doing it and it's OK. Whatever.....ya'll keep on just talking and that will be all you'll be able to do.  Forget being able to ride. But be warned, if I see you f**king up,  I'll stop you, hassle you, take your picture and report you.     ---Have a nice day----
