Theres a new mx track that's opening at Eastbay Raceway. Hes hoping to be open by the begining of may. Dirts coming this week and from the sounds of it should be a good track. Ill try and keep everyone updated on this when I hear more.

I guess the owner is geting into ATV racing, we have a flat track race there this weekend (on the big track).
This race is open to non-members as well.

A friend tlaked to the owner said they are having problems with the county.....

From what ive heard its still set to open the begining of may. sense im not riding today i might go by there and check it out.

well if you guys can get some people together and show up May 6th when were having the SFTL race there. You can not only show the owner how many people support it but talk with him as well.

will the track will be ready that date or it would be just to check it out?

As far as I know, they havent broke ground. But they may have by now. Show up next sunday and see what they have done.
Also keep in mind this is business to them, if you get out there and let him know that you want it. It will light a fire under the owners to get it done.

At what time are the races on Sunday ?

Signup begins at 9:00AM, drivers meet at 10:30, practice at 11:00 and heats start at 1:00PM from what I can remember.

Finally, less than a week away.  Hopefully there will not be another hurricane in the forecast.

If another one rolls through Im going to take it as a sign from the ole mighty! LOL

   How are we suppose to ride on that? It's only five inches long.It looks like another place to practice my skills.Can't wait to try it.

What ever happened to this track opening?

Hes still in the process of buying an additional piece of property thats next to the track. From what the owner has told he, the track will be where the large parking lot is now.

Well, if you guys want this done faster... Were having a Flat Track race there shortly and we have a knobby class. What yall should do is during the drivers meeting (he usually stands next to me) is ask him and let him know you guys want to go there.. If you guys show up and let him know your interested it will light a fire under it.

That would do nothing but piss him off. No one likes to be annoyed by 50 million emails Espically right now when he has the nationals going on and they have 30k to win races..  What do you do when you keep getting the same emails over and over.... you start to delete them..?

 The Eastbay flat track race is still in the works, the SFTL website will be update as soon as the info is available. Im supposed to see him tonight, ill bring it up and see what he says.

and thats a flat track race for quads? if so when im there!
