For riding on practice days at Seminole, do I need nerf bars or a kill switch like for racing?  And I don't need like knee pads all all that.  I've got boots, mx jersey and pants, glooves, and helment, I don't need anything else right?  I'm thinking of going this Thursday.

you dont have to have all those parts to practice all you need is  long pants long shirt  helmet and boots if you have some if not ankle high boots are ok .

i was thinking of going with my son. hes 14 and rides a warrior. there website states no riders under 16 can ride over 110cc but his buddy went the other day on a 400 and hes 14 and was allowed to ride.  i just dont want to go out there to have to turn back.

They don't seem to require motocross boots, as long as they are over the calf outdoor boots/shoes.

If the price hasn't change in the last month, it's $20 for either motocross or woods tracks, or $30 for both.  Get there just before 2:00, and they drop the price in half.

By the way, this Saturday, they're open 1:00-6:00.  Having a Jr. Cypress Cattle Drive.  

I'm deffintly going this Thursday, for track and woods.  Can you hop on and off the track anytime you want?  Like maybe half an hour on the track, hop on the woods track, and back on the mx track after?

Thursday is a great day to go.  It's the only day that all 4 tracks allow you to ride all day on any of them...hop on, hop off (2 motocross, 2 woods-the woods start the same, but there is both a long 7 mile and a short loop).  You share with bikes.  Last time I was there on Thursday there was 30-40 bikes at most, and only a few quads...with a lot of track to share.  Sometimes there was only 1 or 2 bikes on the track with you at the same time.  Of course this all depends on the volume of riders that day.

On weekends there's more traffic, so they rotate through the different classes of riders.  Usually A+B, then C and below, and then pee-wee rotate on one track, while quads and pee-wees rotate on another track...they like to give the pee wees a good chance to ride.

Mornings the quads share the bigger quad track, and then midday they switch up and quads share the shorter super moto track (I like this one better for practicing jumps, but it has fewer and shorter straight-aways than the quad track).  

The breaks you get between classes will be welcome.  After 15 minutes around the track, if you're like most, you'll be whipped and need a break.

i don't understand why seminole isn't listed in places to ride.it's legal,,,trail is in need of serious maintenance though,to many stumps and rocks ,jagged edges,hard on tires..

I went today and the pee wee track you could ride all day (if you were a pee wee of course) and the smaller track you could just ride in and out on (no switching free for all) and the bigger track they switched but you could only ride on it if you where expirenced :o

Yeah I didn't understand all the switching going on?  I just followed all the other quads.  I rode at most 4 hours on the tracks and I'm more sore than a weekend at Ocala for sure.  The trail loops needs some maintaining big time.  I think it's a great place to ride!

The trail entrance is right inbetween the two track entrances.  ;)
