Come on Sport guys! Even though the sand drag is only 200' it's still alot of fun! The guy in charge is going to make it longer, but it's gonna take a little while... Come and try it out, you can practice launches and stuff  8)

the serious drag race guys have a consistent schedule (1st weekend - waycross, 2nd weekend c&r motor sports, 3rd weekend hazelhurst), so unless they make it 300 ft. and get some added money I don't see the serious drag quads being out there.  They would also need port a tree system or something similiar that is going to give you r/t, e/t, 60 ft. and mph time slips on each pass.  Hate to say it, but winning is not everything with the serious guys, it's all about what #'s you can put out.

well i have talked to the guy out there several times when he was setting this up and told him until he makes it 300 ft. it was going to be hard to get people out there that were serious about drag racing.  at that time, they did not have a port a tree timing system with all the goodies.  do they have classes set up or is it just bracket racing?  garunteed money?  pics of the track?  oh by the way, I am not knocking the track, I am just giving you the truth.  you guys will probably get a lot of the weekend warrior racers, but I seriously doubt the full blown drag bikes are coming out until; the track is 300 ft., their is some added money, their is some outlaw (run what ya brung) classes, or they are called out with some garunteed money put up front.

theres no full out drag quads there. the drag track is setup in classes. the track is clay pack down moist not water on it so the no air box quads will be safe.

Do you have any pictures of the track? My 500 is in pieces right now but I might think about putting it back together. It is very low to the ground and the suspension is very stiff, almost rigid so I can't handle much for bumps or ruts...

Hey, the track is pretty smooth except for a few ruts and the shut down... It's nothing serious now, but it is a lot of fun!
