Title: Crash in Alabama
Post by: Hondarider22 on March 11, 2007, 11:52:05 AM
Jake (53yfz450) crashed in the Pro-Am qualifier yesterday in Alabama. He was about to hit the elevator jump when his bike cut out and started popping bad. But he said it was too late to stop so he did an endo and i guess the bike came back on top of him...sounds familiar ::) The paramedic said he is the 1st person ever to crash on that jump and not leave the track in a helicopter. I talked to him last night and he said hes fine, just a little bruised and banged up :ouch.gif Last I heard is that his bike is trashed and he is out for the main today.

Glad to hear that he's okay. Seems like it could have been a pretty bad accident the way you described it. How bad is his bike?

nope it was brand new. it just seems funny how all three of our bikes mine and the 2 people we went up with had water in the gas. and we didnt use the same gas either?

thats what we are thinking. we took someout put in a bottle and since water is heavier than gas you can see lots og little water bubles settle at the bottom along with lots of dirt
