Title: HomeMade HRC airbox lid and flap. Post by: Miami450R on March 08, 2007, 09:05:27 PM Well im not really too good on $$ so instead of spending like 60 dollars or so on a actual HRC lid and flap , I modified my stock one to look and function like it,,,

(http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y197/1BAD4FIFTY/Other%20450%20stuff/DSC01892-1.jpg) By the way: for those who are wondering , I had to cut it because i rejetted my bike to a 180 main jet , and i would have to run open airbox , but i ride trails alot , so this gives me the air AND the protection I need :) Not too Shabby Ehhh? then i used a little wool brush tip with the compressor , and smoothed out the edges and rough spots. lol. Thanks. |
