Title: Riding in the Keys?
Post by: 450SE on March 01, 2005, 09:02:00 PM
I'm moving to Key West in a couple of months, and was hoping to find some places to ride in the keys. Anyone got any info?

Man wish i knew. Never heard of anything down there. Might be a good idea to invest in a jet ski ;) Just kidding..if i hear anything I will let ya know. It would be cool to ride on the beach ;D You might want to checkout http://www.atvmiaxtreme.com since those riders are pretty close to the area.

I grew up in the keys (Marathon), and I never heard of places to ride down there.  I think the closest place to ride is Homestead.  The thing to do down there is waverunners.  You will be surrounded by water!

Well, I guess that settles it. I'll be driving a few hours every time I want to ride. I've never really been into water sports, so I don't think I'll be giving up my YFZ 450 that easily. Thanks everyone

I love going to the Keys. I gotta ask why are you moving there? Sorry but there is nowhere to ride in the keys and the south Fla. riding is pretty slim from what I hear. My boat is on standby just say the word.

It's not by choice...well, sort of. I'm in the military, and I'm getting transfered this summer. I wanted to go anywhere in Florida, so they stuck me in Key West. I have family outside of Orlando, so I'll probably just leave my quad there and ride when I visit.

I heard about that but I think they are just nature trails, but I could be wrong. I have friends in Key Largo and they can't ride down there. They have lived there for 4 years and still haven't found any place worthy enough.
