Title: Re: Place to ride in Georgia? Post by: kawGIRL on April 21, 2005, 10:55:47 AM Go north my friend ;D
Hit the Blairsville trails and check out Suches in between Blairsville and Dahlonega all Mountain trails [smiley=ThumbsUp.gif] hang a left at 60 off of 19 all the way up, You won't be sorry ;D Rome has some hills also. And if you get that far might as well check out Upper Tellico ATV Trails in the Nantahala National Forest just inside NC. Awesome riding up there, my brother just bought 40 acres outside Franklin NC for a development. Might have to snag me a lot and MOVE! Title: Re: Place to ride in Georgia? Post by: MudModel on April 21, 2005, 11:13:25 AM Hey Kawgirl:
We just returned from Blairsville, they not letting anyone ride up there anymore. Than have ban atv's on most trails with the exception of telico and beasleys knob. tree huggers at it again, they say the atv are ripping up the land up there, but they will allow vehicles in there (makes no sense). We were so bummed, we have a house up there, so my dad thought "he will show them" and he sold his 4-wheeler and bought a jeep. Yea the jeep is much better on the land than the 4 wheelers (NOT) also - I had a bumper sticker made for his jeep that says "Since you didn't like my ATV - how do you like this". Anyway, wanted to let you know its not as open as it use to be in blairsville. - (we are bummed) :-/ Title: Re: Place to ride in Georgia? Post by: kawGIRL on April 21, 2005, 11:54:48 AM >:( What happened to the ATV Friendly State? That sucks.
Hey I got a JEEP too ;) Title: Re: Place to ride in Georgia? Post by: MudModel on April 21, 2005, 12:36:04 PM You go girl!! I have a bumper sticker for you. tee hee ;D
