Title: got a big bear with an interesting problem... Post by: outindeltona on February 21, 2007, 02:47:15 AM well during mudfest i somehow killled my big bear before i could even get it wet...was riding it around and it just died.wont restart and had no spark.brought it home and checked for spark-and it had it.buuuuut only when there is a plug in the engine.not with the coil wire attached,just threaded in.if i check for spark without a plug threaded in ,it only sparks when i first push the starter button and right when i release it.this is on a 98 yamaha big bear 350 4x4.....any ideas?it seems like the spark it does have is weak and not timed correctly as it is not a steady spark while it is turning over
