ok guys this is a joint venture between dade city raceay and ssqsa....may 5th and 6th,program will go as follows sat nite mx,sun morn flat track,sun afternoon day track mx.awards for each event with overall awards at the end of the weekend.same format as the atv olympics at gatorback..you only have to have a dade city membership or a ssqsa membership both aren't requirred..no sat. day practice for ssqsa.sat nite is dade city points ,sun is ssqsa points.all dade city and ssqsa classes will be ran.brett you can jump in and add anything i've left out...any questions brett don't have an  answer for i will post an answer...

I am still working on a couple of things but this is going to be a big event. 

You will need one or the other of the membership cards.  (SSQSA or Dade City.)  But not both.  Please be patient.  Information will be posted soon.

This will be a BIG turn out for QUADS... Sounds like a GOOD TIME.

so wait the race isnt going to be on the day track??? i dont like this idea

The race on Sunday will be on the BIG track.  the Sat night race will be on the night track

oh ok well i dont know how many people will run the flat track considering you cant use knobbies

Is Randy going to enforce the screen in the pipe rule. ???

you will have to run a turn down or spark arrestor(this isn't randy being difficult,there is a genuine noise complaint from surrounding residents)...knobbies have always been allowed on the flat track at dade city...you don't have to run all three events,awards will be given out for each event,however to be included in the overall awards you must run all 3 events..

I guess a lot of people won't show then. (Randy is difficult)!!!  :-X

The biggest thing is just make sure that your cap is turned down, and re-pack.

To quailify for the overall will the same quad have to run all three events? In other words can a rider have a different quad for flat track and one for mx? I would think you would have to ride the same quad in all three events but just checking.

I will check on that one.  But more than likely you will be able to run a different quad.  The true flat track quad can not be changed that quick and we do not want to leave anyone out.

you can run a different quad for each event if you'd like just can't change quads in the middle of an event...the spark arrestor is so simple,yet you guys let it get you all worked up..a piece of stainless or aluminum screen and a hose clamp(i can provide if needed)and i won't affect your horsepower.....in the near future you will need both turn downs and spark arrestors...i guess the atva 99 db limit is also difficult,face it guys everyone is cracking down on noise....like brett said packing makes a big difference and a freshly(properly)packed pipe makes more power...

my pipe puts out 96 decibals it is a dr,d pipe it has no turn down but it does have a spark arrester. is that ok

If randy does not see a turn down on the exhuast he will get a broom stick and stick it down the exuast and if nothing stops the stick from going all the way down he will not allow it. And If you can't get a screen or turn down he will not let you ride.

anyone int in racing this event and not just complaining about something so simple as a piece fo screen and a clamp,(that can be removed in 30 seconds after the event)let me know i will supply the screen and clamp at no charge.........

Randy said he would try and give the QUADS a day race and Now it looks like it will happen SHOW UP.........................piece of screen or a good turndown is not to much to ask!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   ssqsa/dadecityraceway..good to go

 I was asking because the drd pipe that i have allready has the screen . but it has a cone shaped end and the exaust comes straight out.

I don't mind running one, but the bikes should run one too. I've heard bikes out there before with big bore motors and unpack pipes louder than quads. My HMF pipe is louder with a screen in it than my Rossier pipe with no screen. Anyways if there not a shortage of screens there shouldn't be a problem. ;)

This will be a great event for quads.  Don't miss it!

show up for what???????just the flat track or you finally gonna try some flat track with jumps installed...c'mon you can't be making "game face" comments unless you attend all 3 events.......

pffftttt... ::)   I think a few are doing both, but most dont want to swap over setups especially since we just started the points series.. Heck, I dont even own a set of knobbies... :-\ Since it right down the road from the house Ill swing in to watch though!
