Sponsored by TUCKER ROCKY THE 6 HOUR ATV RACE WILL BE FEB 25 10:00 AM-4:OOPM We are pleased to have Tucker Rocky to sponsor this event here at Durhamtown Donations so far include: Bifold Ramps 1 rear set of ITP rear tires BikeMaster Tiedowns 1 rear set of ITP Utility tires Answer Goggles Motorex oils KBC helmet MSR boots Pro Amour Bumper Answer Gear Thumbsavers KBC Helmet Pro Amour Bumper Thumbsavers MonkeyButt Powders Durhamtown accessories and gifts The course is ready to race 10 miles of open, semi-open, tight trails, and MX section We have built this course just for this race it allows for plenty of passing we do have some ditch and creek crossing we will delete if it become necessary we have added some MX style jump sections all through out the course CLASSES: Iron Man Sport 1 bike --1 rider Iron Man Utility 1 bike --1 rider (must have 5 in each class or we will combine the classes) 2-MAN TEAMS Pro Class 100% payback plus $300 added money A-class Sport ( modified atvs are allowed B-class Sport ( only modifications allowed - muffler & tires) Utility open ( if more than 12 entries we will break it down 200cc-499cc and 500cc and over) CO-ED class must be a male and female Youth class 150cc-300cc 15 yrs and less (team event) this is 8 classes you will be allowed separate atvs for all classes except ironman we will have pit row in front of my house just like 12 hr bike race trophies thru 3 places COST: $50/rider this is our first event.. like this for ATVS if this is successful then we will have more longer events later this year and become an annual event REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAIALBLE ON LINE Feb 14 -- Saturday night 6:00pm Registration will be open at DP on Friday Saturday and Sunday morning until 9:00 in the lodge We will have pit row in front of my house in the field… you will be allowed to set up pop-ups and rest stations in pit row limited space for trucks and trailers we will include some of the terra-cross in the field area Come and enjoy this fun filled event rain or shine at Durhamtown Plantation Thanks mike durhamtown Title: Re: DURHAMTOWN 6 HOUR ATV RACE NEWSLETTER Post by: Chillinthemost on February 13, 2007, 08:59:36 PM I am planning on racing a harescramble at Gatorback that weekend but if anybody would like to team up and do this I would be willing.
