I love hill climbing but there are no LEGAL hills in Fl.  Construction sites and mining pits are the only places to find hills, just hard to get permission.

Tried a constuction site today was very wet and got yelled at by the cops..
Its a first degree felony to be on the site and a big fine and stuff
I wouldnt recomend that one...
But if u can run from the cops the dover mines are awsome..

If you want hill climbs you need to go to Albany Ga. It has huge hills and jumps only about 1 1/2 north of tallahassee

Have you been there? Is it a big area? Huge hills? I will drive for huge hills, but what I consider huge or steep maybe different than you. Any pics of the place?

It's a drive! but the Wagon Wheel area in West Virginia has got hills.  Some will
challenge the best of riders.
It's 10 hours from Jacksonville Fl but well worth it.
I usually go for 5 ot 6 days .
It's just south of the Hatfield-McCoy trails.
If interested I can provide more details.
Jim

Yea I have been there quite a few times. You can ride an atv on most of the trails except the really stupid dangerous ones. My son and I used to ride all through those hills. I think there would be more than enough hairy shizzit for you Matt. The best part about it is there is an amusement park down the street for the wife and kids so you don't have to here the bitchin.

I still wish the willow shore trails were like i always heard about them being..
Went up there acouple times not much of anything anymore abunch of fence's and and no trespasing signs..
Found a very old paved road in the middle of the woods looks like at one time it was awsome..

Croom in Brooksville, FL has some hill climbs and cliffs.  Other than that yeah the only other place is construction sites.

I am sure that is where he is talking about, one of the larger hills was right off the main rd in town & there was always people out there without getting hassled. I was there in '96 they were really big then, but what I saw wasnt very steep or dangerous, just really tall.

Try the Hardrock Cycle Park north of Ocala. They have a track called the rollercoaster that is straight up and down. Some of the highest I have seen in FL (that you can legally ride)

If you want to climb real hills, look up a place called the Wagon Wheel, in Bluefield WV.
I have some pics posted in out of state rides. Make sure to bring your balls.
