Title: Prayers for my Sister... Post by: SWAMP_DONKEY on February 06, 2007, 08:07:06 PM My sister Cynthia received her pathology report back today and the news looks grim, the report reveals cervical cancer. She has a Dr.'s appointment tomorrow to discuss the prognosis and she is very scared. She has been though a tough time as some of you remember she lost her son Ian last year and you prayed for her family then, just as you prayed for our son Colton (he is doing great) so I have to call on you again to lift her up and bring her strength. Post by: SWAMP_DONKEY on February 07, 2007, 09:49:14 PM Thank you all for your prayers, Cynthia went today and she goes in for a saunagraham tomorrow and goes in for a D&C and leaf biopsy Tuesday after She recoverer's from that she is having a hysterectomy and her cervix removed. She has a great love for life and is a strong person but is very scared. I can always find comfort in Reading your post and I think it helps Cindy when I read them to her also. I know I have put up allot of post needing prayer as it always seems to be something needing prayer and support in my family and you have always been there.
Are we unlucky as a family or blessed? I believe blessed....Yes blessed because we could have had to face this past two years without without God, without eachother and without support from all of you!!! God will never put more on us than we can take, but I also believe he puts people in your life to help you through your trials of faith. Thank you all and God bless. I used to have a verse in my signature, it said not to be afraid of that which can kill the body but can't kill the soul, but be afraid of Him that can destroy both the body and soul. A healthy fear and a strong love for the Lord will pull your sister through. I will continue to pray for full recovery.

Post by: SWAMP_DONKEY on February 12, 2007, 09:18:05 PM Many Prayers needed Cynthia gets her new blood test back tomorrow when she goes for her D&C, they called her back in today to draw more blood to check for Overian Cancer also. The ultrasound showed a few masses that did not look like fibroid cyst. I read the post to her and brought her comfort and she prayed for peace so she could relax.... she felt better when we got off the phone. Thank you Jesus.

The Blood work Showed there was no overian cancer but they are also going to remove the overies with the hysterectomy and cervics. Things are looking very good, thank you for the continued prayers.
